Awesome guitar. I was looking for more reviews on the Gibson Hummingbird. I purchased the Gibson Hummingbird M Walnut natural for $1500. It original $1999.00. I. got $500 off as a discount for going through some frustrating stuff with guitar center and en extra discount for being a nurse during Covid-19. Guitar is amazing.

Ive got the same exact guitar but mines more of a darker walnut. It almost has a special blackish tint to it which I love! For the money I think these studio guitars are the way to go with Gibson!

You’re going to get tired of trying to catch the top of the case before the teeth come down on the beautiful finish of you’re new guitar. I bought a TRIC case with nylon zippers, Gibson needs to lengthen that nylon strap that connects top with bottom. Beautiful guitar..enjoy

Good advice for looking after guitars: Keep fretboard hand nails short and loosen the tuners a couple of turns after playing.

@@rolandcamp1288 String tension is the most destructive force on a guitar like this. Reducing the string tension after playing will maintain the guitar's factory condition forever. Not doing so, will inevitably lead to the guitar needing expensive remedial work. It also helps a player to tune really well. I say this as someone who was building stringed instruments for a living before you was born.

It shouldn't be in tune. That's dangerous to ship guitars in tune. They usually loosen the strings so the tension is less during shipping. Either Gibson messed up or you already had it out before this video. I'm going to go with the latter.

My last Martin I bought came exactly half a step down , which is how I like my guitars. Thought that was cool.
