as much as i love the clean look of that Ford, Hislop's "that guy", brought the biggest engine and most money and basically bought his way to victory.

@@kierenalvarez The Falcon is NOT a “Supercar”. If you believe that you are a “bloody” idiot. Read the rules. Read them again and then a third time. The Falcon is just a better car than the other cars in this series. Better built. Better prepared. Better driven. If you think any of the competition has a chance you are delusional. No worries. The seiners will B.o.P. The hell out of the Falcon and render it uncompetitive. The FIA and most other series do the same.

love the insane camber they can run, I assume they can get away with it because of the lessened significance of tire wear in such short races

Where the rx7 messed up (turn 6? 7?) The only reason hes having a hard time.there is cause hes so much faster in that sector. Everyone else is braking and he doesnt have to nearly as much as the rest of the field

V8's had nothing through that sector. Sector 1 and 3 Ray Hislop had 2 seconds on me and I had 1 second on him in s2

For all the Falcon and Hislop haters let us get this clear. That Falcon is NOT a V8 Supercar. The motor is NOT a V8 Supercar motor. Read the rules. Read them again. And then read them a third time. Maybe then you will understand if your not a hater. Probably not but if you have an I.Q. Above a wombat it will make sense. The Falcon is a better platform. A better motor. Better brakes and suspension. Better team and preparation. Remember this. A car does not know what name is on the Valve cover. It is still up to team preparation, race execution and driver. There was an individual who prepared and drove Honda Civic to a 4th place finish at Bathurst. Think about that. A Civic finished 4th behind V8 cars at Bathurst. A freaking Civic!!!!!!! A nose heavy pig of an economy car. So there is hope for the other cars. Civic’s, 86’s RX7’s, Nissan’s and the rest are not as good as the Falcon. It is not personal. Do take it that way. It is what it is.

I've been in a few race events with Ray, he is an absolute gentleman and champion guy. The Falcon is 3J compliant as per the specification as it stands right now.

IPRA 43 One would think just watching this race the trolls posting the shear ignorance could see how good the Falcon is. I am an American and race in a series that is similar to this. We do not have the latitude of motor mods but we are all on similar tire compounds. The appearance and execution of the Falcon shows Mr. Hislop is top shelf. To see the crazy camber of the RX7 in this race is interesting. As a racer one has to respect the thinking outside the box. I watched J Cox at Bathurst drive the wheels off the Civic and found myself yelling like a maniac at the shear talent the young man displayed. Gear heads from the States would love to have an opportunity to purchase a Falcon. Unfortunately we will never have that chance. This is a series with serious potential to grab the public’s attention not only in your country but in the U.S. Looking forward to future postings of this series. Extremely entertaining racing!

IPRA 43 “As it stands right now” I will read between the lines and conclude BoP is going to come down hard on the Falcon. Hopefully the series will not neuter it uncompetitive. I have been on the receiving end of BoP. Disappointing as a kick to the manhood area.
