That is exactly what i thought that in a 24 or 26ft tall box like this that i could actually live inside if it was converted and insulated. me wife and 1 small kid. You have lots of height 8.5 ft tall goof for tall people like me 6ft 2in. You can even make double bunk beds with 8.5 ft and have enough room to sit upright in both bunks.

plus a truck like this or the 24ft one would probably fit on logging roads that are medium to large width. Just change the tires to off road tires.

I might as well use the back space for sleeping..... thanks! Isuzu...... Just increase the back space in the newer ones to accommodate two, me and my girl, or a somebody and his wife, brother, sister, ECT .... You do that, you'll take the industry by Storm. Sleeper, sleeper, sleeper, is what's needed for truckers...

We completely understand as this is a popular request we hear often for the Isuzu FTR. Unfortunately Isuzu does not plan to offer an extended cab or sleeper version of the FTR anytime soon.

Till you see how much fuel it costs how bad they ride and how much of a pain they are in a parking lot, also youll start to realize nobody has any courtesy for you on the roads(besides other large vehicle drivers)

Why'd they put the left gate control switch so low? Much safer to reach up for it while your located on the ground than bending way down for it while your standing on the gate up in the air.

Do driver and passenger seat fold down like the middle seat? If so you can put a bedding in there and sleep in there also if doing OTR. I was hoping you would've put the other 2 seats down to see. How many mpg do you get with this truck? 15 atleast?

The other 2 seats move forward but to not fold down the same way. The back is only designed to be a small storage compartment. MPG is estimated to be around 10-15 mpg but this varies depending on load weight.

As long as the weight stays below CDL requirements, you should be able to drive this vehicle in most areas of the United States. Please note each State may have different requirement for weight so please check online.

Both are great vehicles and are well suited for most delivery applications. Just depends on a few factors that would determine which is right for you. For example: body height, box length, etc. Thanks for the question.

How do I operate the lift gate?!

There is a small switch located on the right side of the door. This is just above the base of the bumper. You press the switch up and down to raise or lower the liftgate.

A rough estimate for the MPG of a Gas truck is 6-8 and for a Diesel one would be around 10-14.

Yeah but this is the largest truck but they put the 5.2 litre 4 cyl diesel on it which is quite underpowered

5.2 in the npr is ok because the npr is about the size of a pickup truck but this thing is about the size of a f650 or Hino truck and I personally think the 5.2 is too little and too underpowered for its size
