Internal Suspension Lowering Part 1 Removal - This is the 40th of many modifications (farkles) to be added or altered on the 2019+ KTM 690 Enduro R (EU). As I Deacon and get older and mounting the bike becomes more difficult, I thought I would get my suspension lowered by 35mm and stiffened up for our combined weight. This Part 1 of 2 shows how to pull the reach shock, the front forks and the side stand. It all gets sent to Solid Performance in Downingtown, PA who are WP certified suspension specialists. I met them at the last KTM Adventure Rider Rally in Breckenridge CO.
Even though I am 6 feet tall, I am having the bike lowered to make it easier to maintain balance in rough areas. The Seat Concepts XL seat is wide and it spreads my legs a bit with Deacon in front.
