Really. For a car budget where u can't go beyond 7, WagonR is the best I have found. Otherwise there are many cars if you have a budget more than 7. I have 2009 WagonR, which I buyed as second owner in 2,05,000 rs and reselling it in 150,000 rs. What else you need.

I am having manual wagon r 2009 model. I want to purchase AMT version now. But in this regard can you advise on following issues? 1. Is the AMT suitable on gradients of Mumbai/Thane/Pune bridges where due to traffic we have to stop and start on gradients. Are there roll back problems on these bridges which need to be addressed very often using hand brake? 2. In my manual wagon r, esp in rainy seasons, when I pull hand brake, I get problems of wheel jam. Hence the mechanic advised me not to pull hand brake in rainy seasons. In AMT we have to pull hand brake in parked condition. Will it give similar problems as above for manual wagon r?

I bought zxi AGS in January '23 and it's really awesome car to use. Very suitable for city drive and can manage highway long drives comfortably. I am very happy with this reliable car.

Have driven 1.2 amt in stop and go traffic conditions. It takes lot of time for gear changing in auto mode which is very annoying and scary. This was a deal breaker which made us buy nios with regular auto gearbox. For taxi drivers, the 1.0 cng manual are alloted for fuel efficiency and low maintenance of small 3 cylinder engine. 1.2 amt buyers are private car owners which is a different market altogether.

Thanks for watching. The Nios AMT feels smoother, but it is subjective to personal taste and throttle input as well. Overall the Nios is a better finished product compared to WagonR.

It will work just fine. You will have to be careful when overtaking, as the steep incline and sudden accelerator input might surprise the gearbox

I would say buy the least expensive one if you simply want the convenience. Aap 1.0l engine lijiye. Unless you want to go for highway drives and need that extra performance. Sirf city driving ke liye 1.0L AMT is enough.

Maintenance of amt is slightly more. My advice, go for mt as it gives you better experience.

Bikash Rai it’s a WagonR, so why off-road in it? If you mean to drive over bad roads, the engine and gearbox will work fine.

Yes . Not only in maruti , All AMT variants the controlling unit (steering)will passively active to maintain the speed below 100. But not is big issue still you can go100 above .- Sources from sales representatives
