I have 2018 E63 with Standard Burmester sound sytem "not 3 D " and sound is best I've seen in cars, cant imagine what 3D would be like , i think having a wagon adds bit to the bottom end due to the size of the cabin... one day i might dynomat the doors to further reduce vibrations but boy its good....

My dad has a 2016 Odyssey ex when I play bass boosted songs on the factory speakers from outside half of the time you can hear the bass from the back the license plate frame rattles like crazy so when I play same thing in public everybody gave me death stare

Burmester sound system in E 63 wagon is outstanding, it has very optimized MID base , I’m in to sound systems and own few hi end components , this sound system is best stock system I’ve heard, the base lovers might add subwoofer but it’s awesome 😎

And that’s just with 570 ish watt system. Imagined if you upgraded to high end 3d with that 1470 watt system …. Holy moly.

I’m so glad the E sounds better than the C! My father has the C and I wasn’t impressed. I just ordered an E, so I’m looking forward to it 👍

I think the biggest difference is the size of the cabin and speaker enclosures. The larger and wider car allows for a larger enclosure and more airflow for the speakers. Also the E has 610 Watts and 14 speakers vs 13 and 590 in the C. So the amplifier is different and that could be a reason. But I totally agree with your opinion of the C. The C’s low bass is just severely lacking imo, but everything else is almost perfect. I used my Family’s C as a “Bluetooth” speaker at a party and pulled it into a rather large garage. With all windows down and pano it sounded rather full and powerful in the garage. Especially outside. Oddly you could hear the deep low notes that are absent inside the car. Odd.

You dont get a proper Burmester system in A class or C class. Only E class/S class get the proper system. A/C class only get surround sound part of Burmester.

Nothing special, 2x60 watt RMS for 8” woofer and other channel about 40watt RMS for mids and tweeter😒, low hi-end quality, gummy bass,i think not worth for the money... i listened in a GLC CLASS and i was disappointed about the sound performance....

I have exactly the same sound system on my e class... it sounds weak and horrible it sounds like a 50$ speaker. The best sound systems are harman kardon, JBL and BMW’s bowers & wilkins
