I don't exactly have a good reason for why I didn't pick up the Trilogy when it first released. It's a shell-ejecting Nerf Shotgun that uses a new type of shell meant to be the evolution from the Sledgefire. I never heard very many exciting things about it so I always just put it off, but now that I have my hands on one? Definitely worth picking up on sale.

I own one, and I love it ! The shell ejection seems to be smoother when you upgrade the spring for some reason ! I slammed a 13kg spring in mine and the ejection is quite good like that ! Also, I made shells, good shells, models for rival and mega (cut down or not). Would you like to print and test them out ?

They corrected the spelling mistake on the box! Good on ya, Hasbro. This thing really needs a decent 3D printed hopper. My duct tape and cardboard one is fun, but finicky. Walcom, If you or anyone else can make something smoother to fit 8-10 shells, this is the closest to , self loading Nerf-shotgun shell goodness we'll get!

This is why the mediator barrel is useful, its a shotgun attached to the front of your primary, allowing you to have a shotgun as well as a normal primary

So I love the Trilogy for at home plinking, but if it wasn't for the readily available shell packs, I couldn't imagine using one over a Sledgefire. Shell ejecting just does not strike me as super practical, I'd rather be able to remove my shells manually and store them on my person than have them go flying out the side of my blaster for someone to potentially step on or slip on. At least they're replaceable for the getting lost factor. I kind of prefer the compactness and manual reloading of the Shellstrike, even with the reduced performance. But I'm also kinda weird about this stuff.

Put something on the side of the blaster to catch the shells, if you don't mind the bulk then it's best of both worlds, you have faser reloading from ejection and you don't lose them

Surprisingly...I did buy a Nailbiter with the darts stolen. It was on clearance and mostly new in box, so I didn't really care.

I got a trilogy shortly after it was released, and it's definitely fun, of a bit finicky. Looking online, I found an image of the internals, and there's very little going on in the bottom half, it's mostly there for that side door to move down into. You could easily chop it up and have a more sleek pump grip

MR. GOONCH minimize the lawbringer. It makes it a heck of a lot smaller and it’s pretty easy too.

the "semi"-ejecting shells is a positive I would say, want to eject the shells, hold it level, want to keep the shell in the chamber so you don't have to bend down to pick it up, just tilt it sideways a little. The chamber door is big enough that it's easy to pick the empty shell out, slot it back in the holder and replace it with a fully loaded one.

I was planning on flattening the top, screw in a pvc pipe about the diameter of a shell and attaching a spring inside to use as a shell tube. Shells would be pushed to the end and sit on the door until you prime to open and one drops in

I was thinking this could be useful for indoor wars. Moreso a sidearm, but for stuff like small closets and rooms with doors, this could be a nifty little thing. Edit: With the shotgun "magazine" this would make for a nifty indoor war primary.

This is rather comparable to the Doomlands Judge that I feel would be better in itself, but being able to make custom shells for different special targets is something that would allow you to carry less blasters. You could also rig up a net or catch tube for its ejected shells to avoid losing them. The alternative would be to carry standard, mega, ultra, as well as rival, and different blasters to shoot them all, which is more stuff than a couple of different shells in addition to your main ammo.

In my opinion, shells aren't very war practical, especially if you only have a small handful. However, I will admit that this thing looks VERY fun to play with, and honestly would work better as just a plinking toy in my eyes.

I'm gonna get one of these and absolutely overhaul it. Mag fed, slightly extended barrel, upgraded spring, extended stock, better grip, a better pump grip, you name it, it will be awesome

Quick tip: Film canisters fit snugly into the barrel of the blaster, and you cna use it as a sort of RPG or mortar!

Ummm when I bought mine recently it works 100 percent, but I have no idea how but the trap door on the top just stop opening. Thing is that the spring responsible of holding the door broke off. So the blaster still works but remember the trap can be open manually by hand in mid prime. It was annoying at first but it's fine now and theres no performace loss

Looking at the high rate of fire you can get to, mine might have been messed up out of the box, if i tried to do exactly that rof, the shells wouldn't pop out the gun, then the top loading port stopped opening, meaning i had to half prime the gun, jam a shell in so the pusher wouldn't just push out the new shell, then it did a warden

It's common problem, you have to open it and replace faulty spring with a rubber band for example

You can unscrew the shells and cut those plastic poles to make it fire half darts, also it runs on gears. Can't tell I stripped the screw. Also, I'm going to check the slamfire ability. 15 Year Old typing powered by Grammarly. Good Luck!

It's kind of a nightmare if you take it apart Mark the gear position and be very careful of the springs for the top door I accidentally stretched mine and it is a very odd size tension spring almost no room for a slightly bigger one could not find anything at the hardware store that would work and if everything's not aligned just perfectly it will prime catch but the shell won't be seated tight and it will barely fire I had mine apart like 15 times

If you look up Radioactive52 on Thingiverse, he has a *massive* array of different shells, from 6 Boomco darts to a single Mega and everything in between, plus brass and such barrel types.

They should’ve took a page out of gdop26’s page and made it tube fed, and before you are like “Well then it’d be to big” there was no point In Making the shells that big as the trilogy isn’t even compatible with sledgefire shells. The shells should’ve shot smaller shells and be may fed. In my opinion although the trilogy is a decent blaster, it could be improved 5 fold.

Just a thought, I really hope Hasbro makes those Zombie Strike/Rebelle arrows standard ammunition, like Elite arrows... Sucks that we don't have any actual bows in Elite yet.
