My 2019 Maxima platinum edition was recently stolen. They ripped out my interior rear view mirror thinking that it was a tracker. And also reprogrammed my key so they had a key to my car. Was able to get it back and now the panel where my air conditioner is doesn’t work. Is the fuse that controls the air conditioner in this same panel?

Check all fuses might say dome or interior

Great video explaining! Thank you. What fuse do I check for my AC? My car only blows cold air on 60/61, once I put it to 62 it’s starts blowing warm air. I have a maxima 2017 platinum.

That’s not fuse issue it might be low on Freon what state u live in how’s the weather there? Hot how?

@@RBTheMechanic Thanks for your reply :) I live in NYC and it’s around 24 degrees F. I noticed this problem after I took my car in to get diagnosed for a problem with my driver side power door lock (need to replace the door lock actuator) and thought the dealer mechanic messed something up intentionally and take advantage of me. I don’t understand why I have these problems because my car is only 42,000miles and I only drive 2,000miles a year locally. I actually feel like the dealer mechanic has been messing up my car on purpose because every time I bring in something to get fixed, more problems occur. I stopped going to them. Looking for a honest place currently. But trying to see if it’s simple enough where I can try to fix it first.

@@RBTheMechanic in short, when I put the ac to 60/61 it’s cold. When I switch it to 62 it gets warmer. Then when I put to 63 it’s gets hotter. So this means I need to add/recharge the Freon? With ac/pro can? Or is there something wrong with the cabin sensor? Something else? I have spent literally all day trying to diagnose this.

@@MagicallyNikki well first tell me what state u live in and how hot the temperature is there that will give me an idea of why and what ac is doing .. for example some cars have temperature sensors when they detect that it’s just cold enough u don’t need ac to make cold it will not get colder .. anyways if u still think ac has issue then have it recharged properly from the mechanic or dealer don’t use cans it will uneven and put wrong amount Freon. Tooo much is no good and to little is no good so it got to be correct measured amount.

@@RBTheMechanic I was thinking that theory about the sensor that you are talking about. But I don’t remember that happening years prior in the winter. I live in NYC and the temperature stated on my car said “24 degrees F”, when I noticed this problem. And I agree with you, I think I will find a honest mechanic and have them do it. I’m just such a DIY-er with everything. So it’s natural for me to attempt a DIY. Thank you so much for having this conversation with me. It helped a lot! 🙏🏼

When I checked my phone charger yesterday, it kicked a spark. And now the charger doesn't work. Should I just replace the fuse first to see if that settled the issue?

Check ur charger and see if there’s anything stuck in all of ur power of chargers and then replace the fuse

Before anything did u replace the bulbs? U always have to check the basics

@@RBTheMechanic yes , I changed all bulbs even trunk bulb doesn’t work but I did replace . I checked 10AMP fuse interior light but it’s not blown either .

The bulb icon where you click to turn them on , glows orange at night but lights just don’t turn on .

Whatever you do never buy a Nissan. Got a 2019 I’ve had for 8 months. No working USB port and no blue tooth connection so basically no radio. I bought the car for the very features that don’t work. Trading this crap in wrw
