Agreed. My wife and I were in attendance throughout Worlds, for both gals and guys plus Mixed Doubles the Saturday before. Many of those teepads of Northwood were well-dotted with wild cherries that had come down during the previous night's rainstorm. All tees were wet, many were muddy. That particular pad is from at least 2 generations ago as far as newness of concrete pours at the course go, and so is pretty well worn and slick. The men's tee is 30 feet farther back, and is a brand new pour as part of the Gold series. There are many abandoned pads out in the open grove. There were no brooms present, though a PDGA shirted guy did come out to Hole 9's pad to sweep it off before the lead card came through. That all being said, Sarah could have laid down a towel for safety, or just thrown a stand-still.
