Totally agree. I think with football, the competition is so fierce...but it's such a strong fraternity because so few men know what it's like to put on the equipment and put your bodies on the line (literally). So at the end of the day, it's nothing but mutual respect among those who get into Canton

This is my favorite part of the weekend of the Super Bowl, I believe. It gives me chills every year. Love seeing Gil Brandt get this acknowledgment. Hearing him on SiriusXM NFL radio, what he's done for the league is amazing. Then seeing all those Hall Of Fame members coming up there to welcome those guys is great.

Flores won his 2 SB's with mostly Madden's teams. Madden built the Raiders into one of the greatest teams of the 70's and Flores took over and just didnt mess with the team. He'll get in one day but the HOF is more about icon status than anything else and Madden was also a broadcasting legend. Also Plunkett wasn't that good his teams around him were, just like Joe Namath but Namath was more famouse because of his lifestyle

I live in Canton, OH., (Browns/ Steelers country!, Ha!) down the road from the Pro football Hall of Fame entrance, ( 1/2 mile), and I fricking love it! BIG PLANS FOR THIS LEGENDARY SHRINE! If you're coming for the game or concert please don't mind the construction! It's starting to get fricken insane here already with all the many NFL fans and commotion, LOL! Go Baker Mayfield and the Browns(Earn your place bro!). But, helmets off to those legends inducted this year 2019!
