Thanks!! I couldn't figure out how to get the glove box out and every other video just say remove the glove box without showing how. Thanks for walking through each step!!

JB, I also put the date and Mileage on the edge of the filter. That way, I can keep track of the last time I change it. I do the same for gas car oil filters.

JB I just changed my cabin filter out. I bought this truck (2019 2500 diesel Ram) and perhaps now of the air filters were ever changed. Both were extremely dirty with 52K. I agree with you and the kn filters. The cabin filter was a little tough for this 72 yo with bad hands but I finally got it. Thanks for the video

Nice video. I do all of our routine maintenance (oil, filters, tire rotations). I don’t know how much money it actually saves (definitely saves on the Camaro) but I don’t mind to do it and I know it’s getting done. I always write everything down in a book too so I have that information. The dealer always wants to make copies of it when I trade vehicles so they can show the next owner how well things were maintained. I always change oil at 3000 miles in gas vehicles. I did 5000 in my diesel and I will say this if you do change your own diesel oil you better definitely wear rubber gloves or else your hands will smell like diesel oil for a long time!

Thanks Matthew, I haven’t tackle oil changes although I watch the techs when they do it 😅. I guess I want to make sure it’s getting done too, thanks for sharing this info 👍🏾

Thank you John for the part numbers, I was about to search for them, you just saved me the time. The RAM dealer quoted me $70 to replace the cabin filter and $75 to replace the engine filter ($145 total).

Hello, thanks for the video. I just watched your video and did my cabin filter I just bought from the dealer today. Only one mistake. I couldn't figure out the clip for the black cover. I would say it's important to say the clip is opened from the farther side and opens up by pulling out and not pushing in like many clips. I Broke the one on the right. Also, on the glovebox, the push-ins are of different heights with the left being half way up, the left side is much harder than the right. Thanks for the tip on the discounted filters.

I like your video JB. if you change fuel filters can you do a Video on Genos Garage Front Fuel Filter stock Cap replacement? It is a very nice cap for your make and model truck and thought you'd add one to your truck. The cap not only looks great, but it snugs up really easy. I bought one because it is easier to install than the plastic-to-plastic cap where it will not strip the 28mm wrench fitting it requires. It's a hand tight cap where the dealer stock cap spec calls out for 22 ft lbs. Again, Thanks for a good video.

Use a vacuum instead of blown air, your more likely to blow dirt back in vs vacuum

Broke a tab off the cabin filter cover and there's a crossmember in the way of the air filter. I think I'll have the dealer take care of it next time.

Great Channel. I have just bought a new 2021 RAM 2500 6.4 Gas Hemi, Reg Cab, Long Box Tradesman Lv 2, Snow chief with sprayed in bed liner.... I love it and some of the reviews you did on 5th generation Ram 2500 3500 helped me to decide. I have a question. I installed the OEM front bumper lower grill and tow hooks torquing to specification requirements.... The front emergency recovery tow hooks float a little with loose tolerance and I am thinking that is okay because typically tow bar at rear are typically loose for removal and swap-outs without seizing up from corrosion. If you were to walk up to a new RAM 2500 3500 and grab the front tow hooks, would they have a little play in them as I am experiencing, is this the normal fit from OEM installed hooks? Thanks, in advance.
