Suzuki Gixxer SF and Yamaha R15 V3, both sport a 155cc engine and are fully fared bikes meant to give you an entry level track riding experience.
While Gixxer SF received a heavy upgrade beginning of this year, R15 V3 was also upgraded with ABS feature. Both bikes appeal to similar set of buyers, yet the price difference between the two is fairly high.

Gixxer sf being a faired motorcycle has air cooling system while other bikes in this segment have oil or liquid cooling system. So does it affect the bike and engine after long use?? Is this a disadvantage of this bike??

Yes. Seat height of Gixxer sf is 795mm compared to r15 which is 815mm so it should be easier for short riders

only if u go by looks: SF is ugly from the front end 😐 all bcz of its windshield & there is gap near the engine when u look from the side face but V3 is havibg superb n complete looks from every end. Its well balanced in that department

Although both R15 and gixxer are 150 cc they are different segment there is no rival for R15 from Suzuki. Compare gixxer with Fz v3

Both of these bikes are overpriced in my opinion.... You can buy apache 160 4v insted of X blade..... If you are going for a faired bike I think Gixer is your choice becuse we dont have enoug options

I have r15 v3 and boy its uncomfortable in long frustrating city rides when you are tired and also at highways doesnt matter you ride a r15 or gixxer 150 first thing neither of them are going to make you a reach a 100 km diatance in 1 hr so riding position is very important and second thing r15 is a beast of indian 150 cc market in sense of raw power and speed but lacks sheer practicality of comfortable and lovable daily riding experience

Yamaha has one of the most refined engines, and beleive me R15 V3 engine is one of the best in overall performance compared to other bikes in its segment. It is compared with 200CC segment bikes too with R15 V3 being the best. Due to riding posture being very commited and sporty some of them may feel uncomfortable, but if overall I would it is the Best. I ride the #RedDevil ABS variant and this is my point of view😉 No offence to Gixer lover's 😁

@@9891322862 Agree with u bro, but it all depends on the rider posture for touring😄 however the gixxer has more relaxed position like RS200, hence feels good for long touring. Yea true, R15 is suitable for youth's only and also one needs to be fit to ride this bike on everyday basis or he may feel a lot of back pain. I commute to office with my #RedDevil in Bangalore traffic, sometimes do feel tired when sitting for longer time in slow moving traffic

R15 (v3) ka top speed ha 158 km/h

160Kmph. but it meter gives wrong reading. it actually 145-148kmph(12-15 kmph less at top end). Gixxer SF meter also gives wrong reading which is also approximately 10kmph. The KTM meter provides best reading among all of them.

I had Yamaha R15 V1 for 6 years and my experience was very very good regarding performance and quality..n i still respect and adore new V3 n want to own one bt its just 150 cc n dosent have that much power....i want yamaha to launch same design with bigger engine which could do 120kmph on highway without stressing out.

@@everythingunder59seconds3 The cost of maintenance and spares ofR15 is high as compared to other brands. If that is not an issue i would really recommend you to go for R15. You will love it. If you pay premium price you get a premium product.
