We at #MotorBeam always liked the Suzuki Gixxer from its first generation. So much so that we had it for a long-term test for almost a year. After quite a while, the Gixxer is back with an update. No, 160 4v it is. Comfortable, powerful, better technology, smooth gearbox, refinement , 4 valve engine 😊

I own a 2016 Gixxer. While the handling is very good and real fun to drive, especially with the meaty torque at the low end and totally nil vibes even when you pin the throttle, what takes the fun away is the clunky gearbox having a tendency to fall into false neutrals every now and then, also requiring a lot of effort to change gears. But the Gixxy has the X factor that makes it really likeable and the aerodynamic sporty look that makes the owner proud!

How is the gearbox? The old Gixxer had a really bad one. More effort to shift gears and lots of false neutrals too. Any improvement on that front?

i bought a gixxer recently. found that turning radius on both sides is not same. the angle of turning of the front fork assembly is not same on both sides. do any one facing this issue .

Hey motorbeam... All i require is mid range performance and comfortable ride... So the fz25 is still my preference but how can i get this headlight on the fz..... Review the 250 with a comparison to the fz

Just buy the MT-15 It also have a slipper clutch and better fuel economy and it's lighter so you can flick it easily. Also it looks better than fz250 and it have a better instrument cluster 🤷‍♂️

Unfortunately fzs headlight is the main drawback I'm finding in the quarter litre yamaha... But other than that thr instrument cluster definitely need an upgrade. Addition of abs is hardly missed when its launched back then. But thank god they hav relaunched this beast with dual channel unit. Its kind of a budget dominor... Headlight remains the same.. hav to live with it.. :'(

I'm from Amravati , Maharashtra and here Suzuki's only one service centre is available...but it is much better in terms of services and has much better technicians than 3 of Honda's service centres

Not sure about other things.. but suzuki is the lowest ranker when you talk about service network and parts availability..

@@NalinDubey i agree at some regions its poor.. but around my house and native places there is at least 1 service centres under 20km radius and its fine for parts availability as well... Not that bad as compared to other brands... I just hate the way now KZfaqrs trying to outnumber a decent brand by spreading negativity from it competitions just for money

@@adityamore1960 I suggest you visit Suzuki Motorcycle India's Facebook page and see the visitors' posts and comments there. 90% posts are filled with abuses and critics not majorly for the product being bad but only for poor after sales services.

@@adityamore1960 suzuki engines are reliable . Product quality is good. Unfortunately they didn't do well in past in India. They came back strongly with Gixxer. Suzuki they are into automobile industry from decades they have mastered in designing light weight engines .. unique japanese built quality..

This had and still has the best build quality in it's segment. U can't say bad build quality. One more cons may be slight drop in power figure. But am pretty sure that won't affect it in city..

Engine of the #gixxer offers more performance and more fun in its segment. Meanwhile the #fz offers the best comfort. #Gixxer's engine in a #Fz may be interesting.. Is there any other bike with the combination of both qualities I mentioned!!?

Apache 1604v is the only bike... But it doesn't handle that much well. And the brakes of it is somewhat feels non justice to the performance it offers...... Thats y i didn't pick up as my option.... Other than that... It is just the best...

i own a 2015 gixxer. service quality of suzuki is pathetic. their people just know to replace parts with new ones even if there is just a minor issue with the part. and if you refuse to get it changed, because it can be easily repaired by any local mechanic, then they will start making weird faces and will just do the formality servicing your bike. i love the bike. it has the punch, the feel which everyone wants. specially the buttersmooth gearbox but i jjust hate the after sale services of suzuki

I own this bike. Let me tell you biggest con not mentioned here - When you hit a pothole or a bad road the bike is very unstable. It feels like you will fall if you are not careful around potholes.
