In the video, Jenny reviews the latest 2019 Suzuki Vitara Turbo AllGrip.
As a compact, city SUV, it is a decent option. It may not be as modern or Avante Garde as other subcompact SUV options available on the Australian market.
But the new Vitara Turbo AllGrip is better off road. Some people like their SUVs more rugged. Even small SUVs. This is where the Vitara fits.
There is only one engine choice available for this top Vitara trim and that is a new direct injection, turbocharged 1.4 litre BoosterJet.

Great review by Jenny for a really nice car. I've test driven the Vitara and also enjoyed the drive. It was the interior that prevented me from taking the next step. Hopefully the next gen results in further improvements to the interior. I still think its good value for money though.

I own this car. It's awesome. Fun to drive, steering is tight and very responsive. It's super light and I get around 50mpg. You won't be mudding with jeeps but the worst of the dirt holes in rainy season Costa Rica going uphill and downhill has been no problem. Its drivability is so great thst the 4x4 capability is really a great extra. I park on fluffy loose sand beaches where the rav4's get suck without any problem so I think its top in that area. Roomy and really fun to drive, I love it

I drive a Suzuki Grand Escudo 2lt V6 Petrol Auto and must say it is a very good vehicle indeed... super driving, very good acceleration... I do use it off-road too and is excellent in mud...

I own this car (1.4 All Grip) as of January 2019. My impressions are very good so far . The plastics (some of them) are indeed hard. Some may not like that. Personally I don't find them so bad. Generally I'm satisfied with the car overall... That was a very good review by a very beautiful girl. Love your expression at 5:58! Keep on doing that great work!

Its a great car. I see them a lot. With all regulations the old vitaras would cost way to much in the Netherlands.

But don't you find it easier to clean? I live in Costa Rica and we have some dusty roads then muddy in rainy season. for me, I dont get the big deal between soft plastic and easier to clean surfaces. The seats are very comfortable, its got so many options for the price, wow fuel economy and great capabilities.

Nobody reviews the FWD version with it’s desirable 185mm ground clearance which is perfect for country people. And it will run on E10/95 which United sells.

Hi Jeannie, If you need low gear, choose the grand vitara instead of vitara. Grand vitara is still 4x4 not AWD

Do I seeing things here right. Longitudinal engine where it go, really now a transversal engine? This was the main reason of sales in US territories. No reason to keep missing this brand beside no more available.

I've owned Suzuki Vitaras & Grand Vitaras since '92. The Suzuki Vitara is nothing like the originals now & have been turned into ultra soft roaders for people who can't afford the Mazda CX series. My '09 Grand Vitara is good but not as good as the older ones from the previous decade. If I was to buy a Suzuki now, I'd get the Jimny but I find the engine too small. Suzuki aren't listening to their long term customers but have succumbed to scrappy east-west engined cars in an overloaded segment hoping to pick at other marques sales. Suzuki used to be an innovator in the small off-road 4x4 segment but not anymore.

Not degrade, they just sold us the older model instead. I don't know why Suzuki doesn't offer us the same All Grip version like this. We can clearly afford it.

Small expensive SUV with turbo working flat out on premium fuel. There goes any cost benefit of the turbo. Now, put a conventional 2 litre engine in it and you'd have what I would call an ideal car. I like everything about it except the turbo.

Here's a little factoid about this car. I bought one, an RTS manual, and at 6 years old it had a worn driver's side window regulator. Not a big deal you might think. Not so. No replacement in Australia. Around $1000 ex Japan with a 4-6 week wait. WTF??!! For a window regulator on a very cheaply built car? I wonder what other spare parts cost. BTW some of the interior plastics look like they came out of a Christmas cracker as far as quality goes. Car looks great on the outside but there's a lot to beware of. To say the 1.6 litre naturally aspirated engine is underpowered is to be very kind. This is not a car you will get into every day and smile.

Conditions are generally more dusty, higher temperatures, rougher roads and longer journeys in those conditions.

We don’t suffer the salted roads and short cold trips that the Brits have to endure. We are overwhelmingly an urban society and have pretty favourable conditions and, in any case, why not add the old ‘extreme conditions’ requirement instead?. I suspect the servicing makes up for the minimal sales margins.

It’s still generally much hotter and dustier here than in the UK, even in the urban areas (unless you’re in the small minority that live in Tas) and it requires engines be serviced more regularly and also the question of our lower quality fuels. Customers here probably have an expectation of using a car car like this on dirt roads also.

Whatever effects someone has added to the voice-over are horrible - kind of hurts my ears. It sounds like they've doubled the voice and changed the pitch slightly on one of them to "thicken" it (or something with a similar affect). Please stop doing this, I don't think the audio editor knows what they're doing.

Good car but lets remember these are only bought for fashion reasons, and the Allgrip system in reality is no more than a gimmick, and although capable, 99.9% of buyers will not be taking this off road, especially when its on finance. I was hoping to get some kind of AWD car next, typical bloke thing, I like the idea of having a car that can cope with all weather conditions, but I wont bother unless my location and lifestyle depends on it. A Suzuki Swift would probably do.
