I test drove one and it felt like a little rally car, quite zippy, and fun. Only thing that let it down for me was the infotainment felt quite dated but otherwise loved the simplicity of the interior, and the clock, cool!

I love how many reviewers say it’s “little”, “compact”, “small”, etc. Not when you’re driving it’s little brother the Ignis it’s not! 😆

All Suzukis are, i don't know why but Suzuki is always sandbagging their acceleration numbers.

They are a quick SUV for a 1.4.....mine has a TDI tunning box on it...0/60(mph) in 7.2 roughly 170bhp 283nm in mode 7 (autobox)

I have the identical car, Vitara S from 2017/18, and like other owners I'm loving it. That little Turbo is a lot of fun. One question, did you have the car in Sport mode for the 0-100 test??? It would have a significant impact. As someone else pointed out, this plucky unit is faster than Suzuki claims...and lots of fun. Cheers

Car was in sport mode (you can see it on the screen), but it doesn't influence the test. With pedal to the metal engine map is the same.

Please clarify curb weight (1235kg). Is it weighted or you got it from specs as declared by manufacturer? Does it includes weight of driver (75kg, as per EU regulations)?

Not weighed by us. It's as specified by manufacturer. We usually show tare weight but couldn't find it for this car. Tare weight includes only 10L of fuel. Kerb weight includes a full tank. Hope that helps.

The AWD version is actually slower than the normal 1.4 booster jet.. very few people need an AWD unless you're planning to go off road. I have the Vitara SZ5 1.4 booster jet with mild hybrid, and it's roomy, fast and economical. I personally think that digital cockpits are over rated, I like the dials and the analogue clock, plus blind spot recognition, surround sensors, road sign recognition, rear view camera etc. It's got everything you need, plus Android Auto and Apple Car Play, most cars with glass roofs are fixed..I love being able to either tilt the first part of the panoramic sunroof, for an old school feel, or open it up fully for a semi convertible experience.

El vitara turbo es 4WD no AWD ya que no siempre están las 4 ruedas traccionando. Y el conductor puede conectarlo a necesidad.

They weren’t that specific unfortunately. They all blamed the actual material the engine was made from. Lower quality primarily after the GFC. Not sure if this is still the case in 2019.

Funny you should say that. I have one and this is what I find. The seats are unyielding, flat planks. I don't firm firm seats, but they have to be the right shape. it doesn't matter if I push these up, let them down, lay them back or whatever - they're just bloody uncomfortable. Always. No lumber adjust doesn't help. Okay for a quick trip to the shops, but any longer journey than about 20-30 minutes and I get out stiff and achey. Other people swear by them, so I guess it's a question of what suits you personally. Only advice I can give people is never buy a car thinking you'll get used to it - you never do.

I have arthritis in my lower and upper back, and I find it extremely comfortable, must be a matter of what suits one, doesn't suit another. My daughter has a Seat Arona, and I find the Vitara more comfortable.
