Umbra says yes it is a e-CVT (it has the sane hybrid system as prius and the chr)

E-CVT like the Prius. There is a physical Belt driven CVT that Toyota redeveloped for this model but I’ve only seen it on the non hybrid models as the auto option.

I heard that the not-e CVT is only available in the US, it's less reliable and there's already some recalls.
