Why wasnt there a control with no rebar to answer wether or not the carbon rebar did anything because it was smooth

Karbon Bar is a brand of carbon fiber re-bar that has ridges to grip the concrete.

Photos of the failed specimens would be nice. Video of the loading and failure might be interesting. Deflection at maximum load is another nice number to have. If the strength of the carbon rebar had been fully developed, it would have made a very impressive test.

So, has there been testing of carbon fiber with ridging? Also, they are finding it's more effective to wrap existing beams with carbon fiber to greatly enhance the current structural integrity.

Something to consider; CF is in strands so idk how someone could make ridging without it easily breaking/stripping.

I clicked on it because it said winter. How about longterm contacting and expanding? Isn't this the great thing about steal?
