#PandaStory: There were no close ups today, so I'm showing some scenes throughout the day where Mei Xiang's cub vocalized. The very first scene shows cubbie being "swiffered" out the den door, and then it appears that Mei Xiang immediately turned back around and brought him into the den. Wonder if he got to see the large pretty room with windows, or if his eyes were closed as he was carried in Mei's mouth. Those that watched Bei Bei recognize this behavior from Mei!
Of course he had a lot to say after his nursing bouts after Mei Xiang gently put him on the floor, but I've shown examples of those boisterous vocalizations the past two days so I'm skipping them here. These scenes show that our cubby does not like to be woken after taking a long nap in Mei Xiang's absence from the den. And also he still emits random sounds while sleeping. Some of the sounds he makes defy description!
The latter scenes are from the mid to late afternoon, when Mei Xiang and cubbie mostly slept ... in some very precious positions together. Just seems she wants to maintain contact with him in some way.
