Someone else wrote this in another video: "Stop stop stop! You do NOT have to take the headlights or the grill out of this truck to install aftermarket headlight bulbs. On the driver side, remove one push pin holding the washer fluid fill tube in place, and you have access to the driver side light. On the passenger side, remove the air intake tube next to the battery with one push pin, and you have access to the passenger side light. How do I know? I have one of these Super Duty's and just did it without removing the grill, or the headlights, and yes I have Gorilla paws." Not sure if this works or not.

Yep. I had delayed upgrading to LED bulbs because the early videos showed that the grill needed removed. Then I saw another video showing that only the air intake tube and filter box needed removed. I did not even need to move the washer fluid-filled tube to reach both the upper and lower bulbs.

It's crazy how much work is involved to replace the bulbs, I got lucky with my Chevy 2500, which took me 5min to do it,, I, have no idea why Ford makes this so difficult

I know you said that you had to adjust due to your dad’s truck being lifted 6” but if it’s just leveled do you need to realign from the stock setting?

Honestly much easier , if you changing just the bulb to remove air box and driver side battery , if is a diesel and it is fast work without pulling grill and lights out.On driver side lower bulb I did from under the car ,

I think I would try to find a cheaper but hopefully still reputable brand of LED's for the low beams that are still just moderately brighter than halogens, and then get a better and more powerful/brighter brand for the high beams like Supernova's or GTR's. That way I wouldn't feel so bad for blinding everyone non stop with just low beams lol.

The low beams and high beams are on the same bulb. It takes . V4 are great lights.

I believe so. If you are going from halogen to LED I think HR recommends it when doing all 4 bulbs.

So the airfilter houseing. Remove the cover and the filter. The housing pulls straight up and out. May need a little effort but should come right out. Easy .

On the bottom of the filter you can take 3/8 hex socket and turn bottom mount to cut out slots in air box and box will be very easy to pull out without any effort. Not sure if every air box is the same maybe with gas engine is a different , but on my 2022 F250 power stroke is a possible .

@@milosusa on the gas version 2021 f250 I have, the airfilter pulls right out. Nothing on the bottom but a rubber grommet that pulls out.

You don’t need to do any of this to change the bulbs on these trucks 😂 This is some of the worse advice ever to replace the headlight bulb and it will take hours to do it this way. Drivers side: Remove the fender liner bolts and push pin and fold the liner back onto the wheel. Make sure the wheels are turned to the driver side. Crawl under the truck and remove the old bulbs and install the new. Re-install the fender liner. Passengers side: remove the push pin for the air box scoop and unhook the wiring from the air tube and pull the filter box cover and remove the air filter then push the air box cover up and out of the way. Carefully pull up on the air filter box and remove it. Now you have access to both upper and lower bulbs. Remove and replace bulbs and reinstall the filter box the same way you pulled it apart. Takes at most 45 minutes to do both sides VS the way these guys did it risking breaking clips or breaking the grill and all the hassle they went through for absolutely no reason at all.
