That's badass! I don't like the filter hanging out below the frame rails though. That's definitely begging to be snagged when going off-road.

Normally I’m in the belief that aftermarket will be the reason you are on the side of the road a 2am. However this seems to have been properly and carefully designed. I would buy this.

Looks like a great system but like above I’m worried about GM warranty issues down the road. Depending on the dealer, they might look for any excuse to deny warranty work. Have you talked to GM engineers about this enhancement? I think the guy to talk to would be John Barta? Also you mentioned in the video something about a 50 hp increase? Is this another mod? Interested down the roan on that, way after warranty expiration. My 2023 Silverado is my first diesel and I want to make sure I do what’s best for it and it seems this is a mod to consider. Many tks.

I was wondering the same thing. Would love to have this setup but wonder what would happen to my warranty if I had a failure of any component and having them not cover me because I added this. With a 100,000 mile drivetrain warranty that's a pretty big risk.

I asked my dealership about this for my 21 hd. He told me that it would void my warranty and mess with the fuel pressure and told me not to do it.

I got a couple questions about this product. One is does this void the manufacturer warranty on the vehicle? Due to being an aftermarket fuel filter system. My next question does this work for the 2020-2023 Chevy Tahoe with the 3.0L duramax ?

Hey VSE I installed this yesterday. I broke one of the blue snap locks for the line quick connect. Your instructions call it the “security clip”. Does GM have a part number to replace these goodies? Also the front Donaldson filter sprayed so I swapped with a NAPA filter to get me going.

Looks like you guys did your homework for this dual fuel filter setup. If the O-Ring groove, O-Ring size, and the O-Ring is lubricated it should not role up so you shouldn’t have a problem. I have the LZ0 and am interested in this dual filter. I live in the desert southwest so normally we don’t have issues with water in our diesel.

As a gm tech I say this shouldn't void any warranties

@austinfouts9139 I will just have to get conformation and written approval from my dealer before I make any modifications that could potentially impact the warranty on the fuel system and possibly even the engine. I know how some underwriters love to deny things all the way up to a court case.

Website photos show the Baldwin filters..any proven benefit between the Baldwin, Donaldson, or Cat filters?

In the video for the L5P fuel system saver, RUNVSE mentioned the Donaldson filters had an issue and some were leaking. They switched to Baldwin.

correct it seemed that last summer something in the quality control of the canister of the donaldsons changed. Alot of people not even in their industry started having fittment issues with them. We switched to the filter set we were originally going to run the baldwins

@@StephenPaul1160 I just installed mine and it was one of the last to go out the door with Donaldson filters. It sprayed fuel so to get me going I swapped with a Napa filter. Vse is sending me Baldwin replacement.

It sits 1" below where the factory sits which is far from the lowest point in the vehicle. If you hit something to hit this filter you would have hit the stock one also

we have never heard of any dealer voiding any warranty as part of this product. some GM dealers have factory installed them as part of predelivery and then rolled it into the financing
