A mate of mine bought himself one of these recently. It was a reward for winning a world championship last year. I had a good look at it last wednesday and yes it is lovely and he rates it very highly. Drinks the juice, the car not my mate, but is beautiful.

Let's be honest, not one audi rs4 has done 4.1 to 62mph. It's more like 3.7/3.8. Audi understated the power of these by quite a lot!

And Audi manages to make this V6 sound very nice, which is not the most common thing for engines these days. Not Giulia Quadrifoglio-nice, but nice indeed. Much nicer than the current M3's (and M2 Competition's) engine, that's for sure. Hope they'll also make the new M3/M4 sound like the Z4 M40i / Supra, then we'll have them back in the game sound-wise as well.

It interests me when it stops messing all around numbers. Manual transmission just take you to the act. That's all you need when you want to enjoy the car. Yes, automatic are also cool, but there should be every single time an option to choose.

RS4s have always been mightily impressive... but IMO, the RS2 is still king! BTW, who's face did you break your hand on? lol

I love this car, and would buy one if they sold it in the states. Not as interested in the RS6, as it's bigger and more expensive neither of those things appeals to me. Maybe they will bring it here when they launch the redesign? We can but hope.

Nice review, love the car, but it won’t sell in North America. Sadly, for reasons I don’t understand, people here love SUV’s and Crossovers. I’m still one of the few who likes sedans. Anybody know how RS6 sales are going here?

acustic feedback still means you have to look to find the right button, just that you then get feedback that you've pressed it. This means eyes off the road and thus less safe than the previous system in my opinion. I think it's better if you can haptically find buttons without looking... Otherwise, no one complained about the first RS4's V6 because it was a cylinder upgrade. When they got back from a V8 to a V6 people complained because it was a cylinder downgrade. Yes it might be faster, but so is the 4cyl Boxter/Caymen, and people still don't buy them as much as they did with the slower 6cyl ones. Because sound, emotions...(above a certain level speed is not everything)

It's a shame that the M3 is not available as a hatchback. That green looks good on this thing.

5:00-5:16 "the first Audi rs4 was a 2.7 L bi-turbo and no none complained...etc" hmmmmmm what about the timing change belt? what about the engines use of oil?? I've heard both of these problems are common for the b5 gen and are expensive to repair. just saying, bc if I'm wrong I want to buy the Audi b5 2.7L V6 bi-turbo, s4 or rs4 if possible. Not hatting, more like confused.
