This years 2020 Lego Train Set, will be the last time the Lego Train Set is set up at my house. 2021 will be in a new house/location. With the Lego Train making it's way through the house and out to the front Garden.

would be funny .... if Lego would care about train. Last good sets are 10-15 years old (yes; insanely priced 10277 exists). Remember when Lego sold separate locomotives or train cars? crazy, right! While other brands got their quality control issues under control and offer everything from entry level to collector items, now.

As a kid I used to play with Thomas tracks and make my bedroom into the island of Sodor. I grew up and stopped playing with Thomas tracks... now I want to again after watching this video. This is awesome and also takes you on an awesome journey. Well done

Love these. Question for the author: with the exception of the driveway, do you just leave the track out all the time? If so are you cleaning track outside often? Sounds like lawn care is a bit tedious.

You could keep it like that, but ye you’ll have to clean it a lot but with the open doors and stuff it will probably get really cold/hot inside, many bugs will crawl in, maybe some wild animals too

You should buy some couplers and wheels off EBay because they’re cheap and you could build your own if you already have legos

Okay I have seen Lego trains before but I had no idea that they could also run on track. This blew my mind. Now I can do traditional HO models for more realistic stuff and then Lego for like a fun ever changing world.

I'm really curious about the outside track portions. Some of that stuff appears to be even covered with loose dirt. How long does it stay out there at a time? I can't imagine the driveway track can stay there and not be crushed by the car tires either.

Nice work! 👍🏻 I’m interested in the setup, I’m sure you’ve been asked before, and I had a look to see if you had a FAQ - 1) How long does the track stay down for? 2) It looks like parts of it, say the garden, are fairly permanent? 3) If not, how long does it take to build and take down? Again, top work, shared with a few of my engineer friends.
