My 14 year old daughter and I get out for a ride on our red machines. Kaylee is 14 years old and 5’5”. She is on the 2019 Honda CRF125F. It’s a really good fit for her right now. I’m riding my 2020 Beta 300RR Race Edition. It was a nice relaxing day for both of us. Got some fresh air and some seat time.
Enjoy the video!

First off....who the heck gives a video like this a Thumbs Down? C'mon people, what is wrong with you? We are absolutely blessed not only to have the opportunity to ride on public lands, but to have our children share the experience with us from time to time. Secondly, that Honda looks like a perfect starter bike, she's doing a great job! Keep up the good work....both of ya.

Kyle, my daughter started riding with me when she got out of college six years ago - rides a kdx200. I cannot tell you how much fun it's been - all over Colorado and Moab and watching her progress from a total beginner to where she is now at a point where she can ride almost anything. Best bonding time ever!!!

Always good to share moments with the kids. Riding areas in our area (Maryland / Pennsylvania) have all closed due to the virus. I was really looking forward to riding with the kids this spring. Hopefully the boat ramps stay open and we can take the Bassboat out and do some fishing as the weather warms. Love the videos - everyone stay healthy.....

I'm almost 15, 5'7", bout 100lbs, and I'm quite a lean build. Hoping to get one of the 125 big wheels after this virus is over, and seeing by how Kaylee fits, I think I'm going to like it. Only been riding for a few months now (on a 110 that's getting to small), so it's good to have that satisfaction of having both feet on the ground.

Very interesting video for me. My daughter started riding a quad at age 5. She had a Polaris 50 for a few years then got very excited about getting a dirt bike at age 9. We bought her a 2017 CRF110. She’s done very well over the past few years but really hasn’t ridden all that much. She’s so busy with other activities, soccer, tae kwon do, etc. Now she’s 12 and like every other kid in the US right now she has time to spare. Thanks coronavirus. We’ve been out riding on trails she’s never been on before and she’s doing very well. Maybe this will be a turning point for her dirt biking interest. I’m already looking ahead to her next bike, probably a CRF125 like your daughter. It’s also getting me away from street/track riding back to the dirt world. I need a new bike instead of riding my old XR. I really want a new Beta 390 but it isn’t in my budget right now due to a new truck purchase. I am looking at a leftover CRF250X for a less expensive solution. Those Beta’s are beautiful though! Great video!

for kids and adults alike small bore bikes are a blast. Crf125 or any 4 stroke 125 would be a great choice for starters very mellow, 2 stroke 125 a little different story I have a KX125 and I would not recommend for a beginner rider just my personal opinion.

I’m 13 and my friend is 14 and he rides a Honda crf 150f and I ride a Kawasaki klx 140. I’m about 5’ or 5 2 and the 140 has plenty of power for me. Before I got the 140 I was looking at those 125s but for me it didn’t seem tall enough to jump over a good sized log, I just learned hot to jump over a log on my 140. The biggest thing for me about the 140 is disc brakes instead of drum brakes
@terbyern2807
@terbyern2807 4 жыл бұрын
Moldy Cheese a klx140 seems to be a great bike for your size/weight. When you grow out of it and want to stick with trail riding I recommend a ktm 150xcw or husqvarna 150(I think it’s te).

Are the sweepstakes valid in Canada?
@DirtBikeChannel
@DirtBikeChannel 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for reaching out. The issue with International entries is two fold, but mostly it is politics, border export fees, taxes, and red tape. 1. The shipping of the merchandise there is very expensive. Based off my channel demographics, Australia, and Canada would make the most sense to open up international shipping to after the USA market. With my fulfillment company, it will cost me $18-$25 per shirt/item. More if a hoodie or hat was ordered. In my polling data, people were not willing to pay that much. 2. Awarding a valuable prize across international borders is a nightmare than my accountant and attorneys tell me I won’t be able to do. Even a large company like Rocky Mountain ATV/MC (multi-million dollar company near me) nearly "lost their shirts" on awarding a dirt bike to a Canadian Resident in 2018 during its sweepstakes connected to the Fantasy Super-cross they put on. It took them (with multiple full time employees) the better part of a year to navigate the red tape in getting the bike across the border (which ultimately failed) as a prize. I have even spoken to the winner of that sweepstakes multiple times (Canadian Resident) because he reached out to me with questions about what he should do, and he has validated the MASSIVE headache it was to get that bike awarded to him, due to the international border crossing. In the end, the bike could not be approved to cross the US/Canadian border, so Rocky Mountain ATV had to strip the parts they installed off their grand prize dirt bike, buy another dirt bike in Canada from a Canadian Dealer, ship the parts/upgraded items over the border, and then install all the parts on the second bike. It was an astronomical headache. It was a massive undertaking that I simply can’t get involved with. I don’t have the resources for it, and it would sink my small enterprise. I hope that helps shed some light on why I can only offer this to residents of the USA. Thank you for understanding.
