The 2020 Cadillac XT6 is all-new for this year and has some nice exterior and interior LED lights. It even has a feature called "Night Vision" which can detect animals or people beyond what your headlights can see. Although it doesn't have the top IIHS headlight rating, they still do a nice job. Excellent Job. Unlike most other reviewers, he pointed out the side marker lights. These lights helped me avoid a accident; therefore, I hold them in high regard.

Great review! One of my concerns about so many SUVS in this category is that if you fold down the 2nd and 3rd row seats so that you can carry a dog in a crate, which I do because I train a Golden Retriever in competitive obedience, you would be blocking the ventilation because all of the vents (except for the console facing the 2nd row) are below the seats. This seems to be the case for the Audi Q7 and the Acura MDX. So, of the SUVs that compete with the XT6 that do have overhead vents in the 3rd row area, which would you recommend?

Did you feel that any interior parts FELT like they were of poorer quality as compared to that in the XT6's competitors? BTW, such a pleasant voice. Seems so friendly! My favorite voice-over of all the KZfaq reviews I've viewed!

Thank you very much! For materials, yes it feels lower quality compared to some than I’ve been in, but I haven’t been inside a lot in this class. But for the price, it didn’t feel like it matched the price tag

@@PrimeAutotainment that’s so disappointing. I’d love to buy American, and I love the exterior styling on the XT6. And it has a feature that the Acura MDX and Audi Q7 don’t have, that of 3rd row vents. Since I travel with a dog to obedience competitions in the summer months, the lack of overheat venting is a dealbreaker, and the presence of them in the XT6 makes it more appealing. But, dang it, why did Cadillac have to skimp on other visible materials and features?

On a $71,000 SUV, I don't want to hear those wheels were optional. I'd been looking at them B4 U mentioned that, thinking "Unimpressive looking wheels."

At first I thought this was a Trailblazer. It's nice, just not classy. So, if the night vision fail, does that mean the object in front becomes a speed bump or road kill 😜. Very cool review my friend.

I thought it has cornering headlights? and really no difference between regular and upgraded headlight?? and why no more fog lights? and it is true that you don't get the wide lights.. I drive to FL from NJ a lot at night, so good lights are very important. Currently I have Saab 9-4X with custom LED lens fog lights and HID cornering headlight with Osram 7000k bulbs, driving at night is very comfortable... wish XT6 was brighter... need to test Lincoln Aviator at night.

Great night review! This is just too overpriced. No way would I spend close to $71k on this. For that, I’d get a loaded RX, which would be far more reliable and would return much more at trade in, and save the left over $. The night vision is a nice feature though. Watch out for Big Foot roaming around those cow pastures, Nolan! 😆

My father’s 2021 XT Premium’s entire heads display has glitched out several times which renders the Car useless.

Black interior is hard to review at night...can’t appreciate the interior. Nice vehicle. GM needs to update to digital dash display...they’re behind the times🙀😿

The front turn signals are atrocious, why does it swap between white and orange, you can tell when it switches between white and orange, they should either disable the white completely when using the turn signal, or go the Mercedes route where the white is always on but dims when the turn signal is being used

I think the main info screen should be much better looking. They didn't do this vehicle any justice putting this screen in here. The buttons that appear to be touch are very cringe to use.

The interior dash board looks cheap and outdated in all XT models in comparison with the 2021 Escalade. I would never buy any of them. If I need to change my 2021 Escalade Platinum with a smaller SUV, I would go Mercedes, no way would I go to any smaller XT6, XT5, or XT4. The Mercedess smaller SUVs are way superior to these XT models. My question is, is GM afraid to go all the way with ambient lighting??? It looks like that. Even Escalade did not have a real ambient lighting until 2021. And even now, it still does not compare to the Mercedes ambient lighting. I am very disappointed. It could have done better. It is too feint, it has too few choice of colors, no ambient lighting strip in the rear doors, No ambient lighting in the center console, and it does not let you chose the color chaining mode (demo mode) while you drive. Seriously, for a car that costs $ 130,000 I would expect to do better.

$71k for basically a GMC Acadia Denali. Too bad GM cheaped out and didn't make this vehicles platform off the CT6 a Rwd biased vehicle with a 500hp engine option. That would be work $71+k. This vehicle doesn't even compete well against its corporate cousin Buick Enclave/Chevy Traverse. My advice is to choose them over this Cadillac if it has to be GM, other then that there are better vehicles cheaper and more functional then this Caddy.
