My favorite Christmas tradition started when I was really little. My parents always took me to see my grandparents for a gift exchange and games. My grandparents passed away several years ago, but we still keep that tradition alive! The games get more fun and goofy every year, and it’s always great to see my family. My second favorite is a tradition my husband and I started where we make breakfast for his parents and surprise them each time. They do so much for us, and he’s an only child, so we get to give back a little to them each Christmas.

My favorite Christmas tradition is decorating our tree with my boys. We light a fire, play Christmas music and use all of our ornaments we have collected over the years. I love seeing the homemade ornaments my boys have made, we make a new one every year together. I also love baking ginger bread cookies and delivering them to our neighbors

I was just talking about this to my kids. There 6 and 8 and our favorite tradition is baking cookies for Santa, muffins for breakfast, and watching home alone or the grinch. Oh and we can't forget the note we leave Santa with his cookies. He even writes us back.

I'll said my favorite tradition we do for Christmas is when we all gather on Christmas eve and wait until midnight the littles one in the family puts baby Jesus in the Christmas nativity and we all pray give thanks and sing and have a great time together. This year we are going to do it virtually due to the pandemic but the tradition will keep going👍🥰🎅🙏

One of my favorite traditions is on Christmas Eve after church the whole extended family gets together and we just have all of our favorite appetizers for “dinner” since no one wants to cook before the big meal on Christmas Day. I also love that my dad always cooks everyone omlettes made to order Christmas morning after we finish opening gifts. :-)

Loved the Christmas tree. I had a house fire 2 years ago and the items I missed the most were the homemade ornaments my boys made when they were kids. They are grown men now but the grandkids loved looking at the ornaments their dad made!

I absolutely love your tree!!! My favorite Christmas tradition is one that my son, husband and I started. My son is 5 yrs old , and every year in the week before Christmas we make a gingerbread house and make little mini Christmas cakes that he gets to decorate. We also always bake Santa cookies together. Its something I plan on us always doing and hopefully him carrying over to his kids one day.

One of our favorite traditions is on Christmas Eve when we make tons of appetizers for dinner. Dishes that we only make once a year (including sausage balls that I used to make with my grandmother). The kids love cooking (and we make our cookies for Santa and gifts for the neighbors then too), and all of the recipes have become traditions. ❤️🎄🎅🏼

Its hard to settle on my favorite Christmas tradition, but I would have to say our gingerbread house contest is up there for me. As a kid my parents did that with my sisters and I and its something that my husband and I do now. We don't have any children yet but are definitely excited to start new traditions when we do have some (: thank you for all you do amy! I feel like you would be the most humble and sweetest person in real life!

I love the family ornaments especially the snowman family ones. I got a little emotional because my mom used to get us ornaments each year like that. She passed away last year so this is our second Christmas without her. I love your videos and decorations and house and well just everything! Be blessed!

Your Christmas tree is beautiful! Our favorite Christmas tradition is eating pizza and watching "A Christmas Story." This year will be different. My husband and I are first time empty nesters. Our daughter is living away from home working & going to school. This is a busy time of the year where she works so we won't be able to see her till January. It's sad, but we are still grateful to be able to spend Christmas with her at a later day. My momma use to make Hobo Packets with the ground beef. They were so good. I will need to make them soon. Tradition - Since I was 1 and now 41 we have never missed making gingerbread men at my parents house. Now it my kids and nieces and nephew now in 20s. We all get together decorate. Then we wrap them in a long piece of cling wrap with bows in between each cookie. Visitors can cut off a cookie when they come. They have a vaulted ceilings so she hangs them from the loft. It’s the best tradition. We also make my great great grandmas custard and we all have a glass Christmas Day.

I love how you include the kiddos when decorating the tree. I noticed a lot of KZfaqrs do not. I always remember how much fun we would have decorating a tree with all the keepsakes over the years. We would always make fudge the night we put up the tree. Now I tried to make fudge when we put our tree up and I can never get it to look it even taste like my moms and gmas! But I try every year and fail every year! The kiddos look forward to the failed fudge attempt yearly lol

A tradition I grew up with is, the tree goes up the same night as Thanksgiving dinner, as well as opening one gift on Christmas Eve! This year the tree went up a little earlier because we felt we needed more Christmas cheer and positivity with everything that is going on. We haven’t decorated it yet though, we will keep the tradition and decorate it after Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow 🤗.

I've been binge-watching your old episodes, Amy! I've never really gotten into youtube channels before and you're the first one I ever found and thought "I want her in my life often!" Team Darley for the win of getting to be my first subscribed channel! 🤣 I'm such a horrible house keeper so I was SHOCKED when I got motivated to clean just by watching your clean-with-me videos! Our tradition is we have a christmas dinner on christmas day with turkey and all the comfort food and open presents afterwards this may be what everyone does but this is all I can think of as to what I do christmas time every year

Hi Amy!! A tradition my hubby and I have is we always watch our favorite Christmas movies on Christmas Eve and Day while the Christmas meal cooks. Growing up we had three traditions swap gifts with my brother Christmas Eve, go to church for special Christmas Eve play, and before Christmas Eve make beaded ornaments with my Nanny then hand them out to the homeless, friends, and family.

You can Saran Wrap the little and the bigger trees to minimize the # of ornaments that fall off. Can’t put it back into the box... will need to move it whole....

Video Suggestion: Basic life skills teaching kids the things they need to know to function "tomorrow". I would love to do this but cant show my kids on social sites (yes, they have now joined us). Making beds, rinsing dishes, learning to vacuum, and hammering a nail just to list a few.
