I clean houses for a living, so a cleaning tip I have that a lot of people don’t know about is getting down at eye level to check to make sure you get all of the crumbs off of counter tops!

I do the same thing but I also found that if I turn off the lights in the kitchen and allow just a little bit of natural light in, it's easier to see where I missed cleaning countertops.

Get a wood dowel and use it to tuck the slip cover into the couch cushions. It will hold the cover in place and look better

Best cleaning tip: Never leave a room empty handed. Take anything that does not belong in that room out of it. If you do this every day, it organizes your home practically painlessly.

That is so awesome that you give your kids tasks. It can be very overwhelming just to say clean up, especially with younger kids. Giving them tasks to complete will help them in a long run as they get older. With my older children I have to write a list of what they need to get done. It helps them to remember and they aren't overwhelmed.

Complete disaster clean! This is definitely the motivation I needed for today! We've been working outside for a couple of days and when my inside work gets neglected it gets so messy!! Cleaning hack. I do it works great. Smelly dishwasher? When you do a load of dishes in the dishwasher put some hydrogen peroxide in with the soap. It will not only sanitize the dishes and will help keep dishwasher clean and smell free. Yes it works great

I got the exact same couch cover!! Mine did fit better but my couch isn’t a sleep sofa, so it less bulky. I really like it. I also have the same bean bag stuffy storage, but I got mine after seeing yours over a year ago lol. I agree about the vacuum with a cord. I love my Shark so so much!!!

Hi Amy! We got a cover for our couch, and we bought the smaller pool noodles, cut them in half, and stuffed them in the couch to keep the cover tucked in. They do pop out sometimes, but have helped keep it look more neat.. Not sure if this is the greatest solution but could be worth a try. Also, heavy bean bags could work. So good to see you again!

I am with you on how to get my kiddo to help or complete a task. I do not demand, I guide and assist because I never want him to feel anything other than Mom helps me always! I love the motivation because my house looks like a few tornadoes ran through it (massive laundry piles, dusting, vacuuming, and moping is needed). xoxoxo from NYC

I always feel like the kitchen isn’t truly clean until I clean my sink. I totally get that satisfaction feeling from a clean sink. Some days I start there just to motivate myself to get the rest done. My husband and boys love spicy, as I get older, I can’t handle the heat they like with the spice. My day is ending as I watch and feel geared up for my cleaning tomorrow. Have a blessed day.

Cleaning tip, to dust your lamp shades use a lint roller!! Game changer! Also, for the toilet seat try a Mr. clean eraser sponge.

Added the shark vac to my cart! Happy it’s under $300! 😍👏🏼 May cordless dyson is good for hardwoods but my carpets lack a good vacuum AND my cordless dies way too quick when I use it on full power. 😭 I’m excited.

Good motivation. I also like the method degreaser on my stove. I tried the Jaws cleaning products and I really didn't like them to much I don't think they cleaned as good as some other products I use. Not a big fan of spicy food 😀❤️

Glad your dog is ok. Definitely lots of cleaning motivation you did a little bit of everything. For the toilet maybe a brush with some soft Scrub or the bleach toilet get and scrub it. I know there is also a stone for got the brand name you can use for procelain.

Highly recommend a KidKraft dollhouse! We had the Barbie one before and we had so many broken pieces too. The kidkraft one is much better quality and my daughter loves it!

Girl get you a “Pumie heavy duty scouring stick”... it’s basically a pumice stone. I use it on my toilet bowl seat stains and any hard to remove stains in the toilet. Works like a charm EVERY time !

That Shark Apex is the best vacuum. I just recently bought one and the suction on it is wonderful. My cleaning tip for a stinky garbage disposal: before going to bed put a little hydrogen peroxide in your drain. I’ve had no more smell. 🌸 I do it every night. Before it was always a funky smell. 😜

Hi Amy! I had a Dyson that I kept in the garage and at the time I wasn’t aware that it should not be exposed to extreme heat or cold and I ruined my vacuum 😔 before you store your vacuum in the garage read the manual so you don’t make the same mistake I made. Good luck! Love your channels!

Best video ever, Amy!!! I needed this motivation so badly. As you know, I love spicy food-like you, I never get heartburn😛. Also, I don’t take my eyes off my phone when I watch your videos. This Crazy Life (found her thru you!) taught me to love Grove. Grove sent me the Method Degreaser. It is the BOMB-ditty!! I now have 4 bottles under the sink b/c it will assist in the kitchen and every door and doorframe in the house!! Oh. My. Gosh!! 🍓As far as what I'm doing while watching you (you were the first one I found) and the dozen women I found after you, whilel I am working at my desk! When we hit Quarantine Day in March, I came home to work but also had to change schedules to 3-1130pm. I listen and glance - I listen and learn - while doing my work. You all have kept me on track, motivated, inspired, and awake!! Thank and best wishes for a dry week ahead!!

Hey Amy! Maybe you could try Barkeeper's Friend on your toilet seat?? Don't know if it will work on it or not? You suggested that product a few weeks back. So I used it on a scuff on my white kitchen sink… I was amazed! Came right off! I had been trying to get it off for months with many different products with no success. So thanks for that suggestion.

My Autistic son thinks he is a KZfaqr and pours all kinds of stuff down our toilet to see if it flushes: salsa, dirt, slime, cake batter, chia seeds, mustard, etc. So, of course, they leave stains on the toilet. I use Piping hot water, soap and use a scotchbrite pad and gently scrub. Comes right up! :D I need to buy the Barkeepr's friend stuff since everyone mentions this. It must be good!

Yup, that's what happens to me too, lol! I love watching but it usually needs to be one I've already seen so that I'm not inclined to watch the whole time. One would think that you don't need to see someone wiping something because you know what that looks like but it really is fun to watch, lol!

Tup: Dawn Power Wash for air return grate- especially if its greasy like mine due to no range hood!

Hey Amy, One option for cleaning showers and bathtub, i love using magic clean eraser with shampoo. It breaks down all the grease and soap residues. If you can't use chemical soaps due to breathing issues. It cleans so fast! :)

Something we try to do is run the dishwasher at night and empty it first thing in the morning, so when dishes accumulate throughout the day, they can go straight into the dishwasher! That mayyyy not work with kids lol - sometimes it doesn’t work with us adults. But just a thought!:) also I LOVE spicy food but have gotten heartburn for the last couple years so I can’t do it all the time :/ thanks for the great videos 🤩
