Did you used existing factory clamps for your xpipe? If not, what clamps can be used for install?

@@numvienthongsuk4684 This is a weld on product so we welded on two 2.50" Pipes on the end for it to slip inside the OEM pipes then we used slip over clamps to have the x-pipe bolted on.

can confirm it sounds amazing. just got mine put on over the weekend with the same setup. im part of a huge scat pack group in south florida , all the guys like it as well as me. best thing i ever did for this car was buy the carven x-pipe. i will upload videos soon

I got this installed and I notice the car wasn't as loud as before, I may switch Mines back, but the Torque did increase top end

I was able to track down a carvin 3inch x pipe had it installed by rep muffler shop. The exhaust sounds deeper but has quieted down a hair due to killing the rasp and some resonance. It has also hurt my torque from the low end dig and has increased top end as well as mpg so I think there are some trade offs but not sure if this was the route to go. I have the same car and exhaust setup as well

Put your resonators back on to help with back pressure you have to remember it’s a n/a vehicle and it helps with the low end , also reso don’t even make a huge difference in sound tbh

Hey I’m trying to get this done and have the x pipe in hand some places are saying they can’t do it because the stock pipes are 2.75 inch. Shouldn’t you be able to weld or clamp it? What was done in this video

Just bought a 2020, factory exhaust is much louder when you get on it. This exhaust is much louder on revs though

Sometimes Cameras can't capture the full tone of the exhaust. This set up is louder than stock.

Since the mufflers were cut off in this video, do you need to cut them off to install this x pipe or could I leave my factory mufflers on the car?

You can leave your OEM mid mufflers on our welder just didn't want mid mufflers

Also would you say these xpipes cancel less sound than the standard xpipes or the magnaflow xpipe, also creating that throaty growl? Due to the exhaust gasses not fully switching from side to side and not bouncing together and canceling sound the same way flowmaster chambered mufflers do, I think your xpipe doesn't do that because its so open inside its still let's some of the gasses to go straight thru, maybe only part of it mixes but must just create a vacuum like you say and creates that sound, cause it almost sounds like the carven tr muffler. Im just just amazed there's no mufflers and it doesn't cackle. The xpipe does an amazing job apparently lol so for my challenger im gonna try deleting the xpipe first and if its not good enough I'll order a carven xpipe and delete the magnaflow mufflers. Id be better tho, to sell the whole magnaflow exhaust and just rebuild the factory one I have since I haven't been able to sell it

If you cut open the chargers/ challengers factory x pipe you'll see there is only a small opening. 1-2 inches also the pipe diameter looks vastly smaller in the middle of the factory x vs the carven. This gives the hemis that choppy tone they have. I like it but it does not flow good hence why it sounds way smoother with the new x. It's almost like the hemis are running old school true dual exhaust ie left bank never meets right bank. To me it sounds similar to h pipes just a little better tone at the higher RPMs.

@@lightning7582 ya man I noticed that, the left side doesn't just cross over to the right, alot of it merges straight thru, ill try with no mufflers or resonators and see how I like it . When I put an xpipe on my truck, I got quiet and I put it back to true duals

@@lightning7582 decided to go with the carven xpipe and keep the mid mufflers and keep the resonator delete too. So I will remove the magnaflow 19367 catback ( xpipe and mufflers) and replace with carven x pipe and 4 inch round magnaflow magnapacks , just hope it doesn't cackle , just want nice growl and deep tone

@@lightning7582 what did it sound like without the resonators? We are about to try that today. 2020 Scatpack. Had dynomax mid muffler delete. I liked it but my son wanted to try something else. We got the xpipe and it made it super smooth sounding. But we took it a step too far. He didn’t want to but the shop suggested it. We removed the factory resonators and put on the Jones exhaust flow pack in their place. NOT the sound we were looking for. Loud ass drone inside and now growl on the outside. It sounds like a GT mustang. So we either go back to resonators or straight pipe. What do you think would be best? I don’t mind the sound but don’t want it too crazy. I just can’t handle that damn drone with the Jones on. I’m new to this. Just playing around with stuff.

Well it is a stock car? No blower, no headers, no nothing and we didn't removed the rear resonators. So for swapping out that "x-pipe" the chargers have to our mandrel bend tip welding x-pipe and removing just mid mufflers its pretty loud. Thanks for your feed back.

I think it's also the audio recording that may make it very hard to tell how much louder the new setup is. The video audio is compressed which normalises and makes both the exhausts sound very similar in volume and won't capture the volume difference that you would perceive in person. Audio processing can make a huuuuuge difference in how a sound is perceived, especially compression, where loud sounds can sound less loud as they're all levelled out and quieter sounds can sound louder too. If the muffler was deleted and replaced with an X-pipe then the X-pipe setup would definitely be louder 100%, since there's no absoprtion materials or muffler chamber for the sound to be absorbed into.

@@CarvenExhaust would you lose low end power if you removed the resonators and made it straight pipe? Xpipe-mid muffler delete- straight pipe or xpipe-mid muffler delete- resonators? Which is better for low end torque in your opinion? How much louder with straight pipe?

I took my resonators off and it sounds amazing!!! It will not sound overbearing or anything. It sounds deeper and more aggressive to me. I removed active exhaust, mid mufflers and resonators in rear. Sounds better than buying an actual catback.
