You guys inspired me so I took a day off and used it for testing several 2021 model Ducatis; Monster 950+, Supersport 950 S, Scrambler 800 Icon, Hypermotard 950 RVE, Streetfighter V4 and finally Panigale V2. For my use I think my favourits are Supersport and Monster (in that order). Hopefully I can afford one for the 2022 season! I’ll watch Your reviews some times over and over and try to descide. Half the fun is looking forward to it like a 4 year old for christmass! Thanks Bill and Bogner, keep up the grate work. Cheers from Norway!

I picked mine up yesterday. So many reasons most of which you covered as to why, when looking for a sports tourer I chose the Ducati. I can't say that having the best looking panniers was the deal clincher but it sure is a big bonus. Thanks for the review I will book mark it and watch it again on those days when the weather prevents me from getting out for real 🙂

That road you are in in this video looks like heaven to ride on. The perfect road for the SuperSport. I recently bought a 2017 SuperSport. ( not the s model ) It looks 99% like new. It only had 2159 km when i bought it. And i have only ridden it around 400 kelometer so far. And up until tonight i loved almost everything about the bike. But this evening i went into the city on it for the first time. And i was in painfully slow traffic for maybe 20 minutes where i was in first gear below 3000 rpm the entire time. And the bike hates being at one or two thousand rpm. It is only happy after 3000rpm. And the geometry of the bike doesnt really lend itself to slow speed minuvering. And i also noticed tonight that the bike doesnt flip back and fourth easily. Its like all the things that make the bike so stable at higher speeds and make the bike hold its line so great on big sweeping turns is a negitive at very slow speeds in traffic. The bikes favorite place to be is on big sweeping turns like in this video. But not the best for small canyon turns. I test road an MT09 and XSR 900 before buying the Ducati. And on big open roads i much prefer the stability of the SuperSport. But the MT09 is way easier to minuver in the city. Letting out the clutch in first gear on the Ducati is a little hard to get used to. Because the bike is just not good at one and two thousand rpm. Which makes stop and go traffic a nightmare. It also makes the engine really hot. So tonight i discovered what i dont like about the bike. But overall i am in love with the bike. I love the looks. Love the engine. Love the stability and how it holds its line on big sweeping turns. And the bike has allot of characture. You feel like you are on something special evertime you ride it. And people always want to look at the bike. And its not boring at all like i found the Honda CB 650. Which has no low end or midrange power. The Supersport ergernomics is what every sport bike for the street should be. Not a track bike that breaks your back if you ride it longer than a half an hour.

I'm 6' and 200lbs... still carry some holiday weight from 2009 and I love this bike, finally a sport bike that doesn't require a chiropractor visit after half hour of riding. Also, i like the over all power because on high end power bike, I'm constantly testing my self control. So go for it people... just toss those antlers out, and get a cool gel seat cover...

@@teoman6653 Hi, yes is a great tourer although I never toured on it but know people who have. The DQS is smooth and efficient for me. The engine heat is noticeable but bearable and here in uk winters it’s great. I believe the Panigale is much hotter though.

Man, I agree with that. The Ninja 1000sx looks nice to me but a bit heavy for my intended use. I would prefer something in the weight range of this, (450ish wet) for daily commuting and twisty roads on the weekend. Hopefully with Aprilia and Yamaha joining the middleweight twin faired bike segment it'll spark some competition.

Indeed. I've bought a 2019 super clean S model with 50'000 kms on it! Only thing I don't like, apart from the super-vibey mirrors, is that the thing is a bastard to pull away with when cold. Super snatchy, liable to stall, much slipping of the clutch is required. I can't believe this is normal. I've had Ducatis since 1985 - none of them have been like this. Once warm, the problem goes away. Any ideas? Thanks!

All fixed by warranty, but shit bike anyway, sold it to ducatisti with a big discount and I was the most happy human!
