Definitely give each kid their own bedroom. They will use that space every single day. The guest room you only use a few times a year. Plus, you have a finished basement you can always use!

There were 7 of us living in a three bedroom house growing up. My parents had their room, my 3 older sisters shared a room, & my brother and I shared a room. Until we were older & my dad put an additional third floor on the house. After that my two older sisters had their own room, my brother had his own room & my middle sister & I shared a room. Sharing a room can be great for kids but they are your kids so whatever feels right to you :) 🤍 I always think when it comes to this my mom is one of 10 children! Haha, so they had 12 people in one small farm house with only two bedrooms upstairs & they made two more bedrooms downstairs in the basement. I can’t imagine 12 people sharing one bathroom! God bless my grandmother 😂💛

I like the idea of the kids having their own room. That’s just me. They always play together anyway but I tried to hang on to a guest bedroom for so long and I probably have a guest once a year if that. I feel like your home should be for your family first then if you have a guest come they can make due on an air mattress or couch. Just my opinion but your home is beautiful and could definitely work with your new bundle of joy ❤️ best of luck!

I think the baby should have its own room. If its a boy, the age gap between him and Landon would be a lot right now for Landon to share space with an infant. And if its a girl, it may be best to give Presley her own space out of respect of her transitioning from the baby of the house to the middle child--she may have like resentful feelings if she has to share her bedroom with a newborn. Thank you for the motivation, I'M STILL IN BED BUT I SURE NEED IT!! 😁

Since I’m already essential as a delivery driver I’ve just been going to the store to pick up what we need. I wear a mask and use hand sanitizer. Also wash my hands like a thousand times a day. Also when I come home I pull off my shoes in the garage and spray myself down with Lysol before I come in. And I wipe down everything inside with Clorox wipes. All of your recipes look so good!

I am a twin so I grew up sharing a room..sharing EVERYTHING..LOL. So I always longed to have my own room. Sharing definitely does teach how to compromise. We are doing grocery pickup. Ordering online, and picking up from Walmart. We do wipe everything off with a disinfecting wipe before we put the groceries away. Love your cleaning and organization videos!! Thanks for sharing with us, stay sage and God bless!💕

Here in the Netherlands is it the standard that we have our own room. We only share a room if we don't have enough rooms and the house is too small. Because if possible we make an extra room. I think it is better to have your own space. We don't have playrooms, we play on our own room and when we are older our homework on our own room. It is nice to have your own space and privacy.

I think when they are little it is so wonderful to share a room. I know that when I was older I needed my own space. But it was so comforting to have my sibling share a room with me. ❤️

I tried to have my girls share a room for a while and my boy alone but it got to be too much bickering...different personalities! So we opted for giving the kids their own and it was a blessing! Guests can be accommodated in a sofabed, office. It's worth it! About grocery store, I've been there twice, once at Costco and another time at Publix! Buying in bulk is the best! Be safe!

I think if you have a spare bedroom, then you should prioritize giving a bedroom to each child. You don't have guests all the time to justify having a spare room empty just for guests, but that kid is living there long term so he/she should have a designated space.

I think the baby should have the guest room. Especially in the beginning, Presley or Landon probably won’t want to share their room with a a baby. It might be different if they were closer in age though. But I always loved having my own space that I could escape to if I needed it as a kid. Plus, it will minimize potential sibling fights as they get older. So as long as it’s an option, I think each kid should have their own room.

I think if you have the space, give each child their own room. I believe prioritising the people that live in the house over those who come occasionally is very important. :: We are lucky here in Australia. Our supermarkets are fairly well stocked, and fresh food is plentiful. There are some items like toilet paper (go figure?), baking staples, and pasta that are still low, and canned goods fluctuate depending on when the store gets a delivery. The stores have also implemented social distancing in checkout queues, as well as installing plastic screens at the checkouts, hand sanitiser for customers on entry, and limits on the number of people within the store at any given time. There is also a special hour at the beginning of each day just for seniors, those with disabilities, and health care workers.

Good morning im a mom of 4 and i absolutely love watching your videos...(I had to pause the video for a min and go to the comment section to message you) You inspire me so much..I'm so glad I woke up to this video due to what's going on in the world I'm not working at the moment. It put me in such a better mood. Ive been in a funk lately due to loosing my daddy on valentines day my oldest son turned 18 on the April 8th couldn't really celebrate, no prom, looking like no high school graduation no kind of senior activities for him on top of loosing his pawpaw and all 4 of my babies are taking it hard. I also lost a son due to sids and his birthday is coming up and it looks like me and my 4 babies will be stuck in the house for that too and thats gna be hard as well (send a prayer my way please). So coming on KZfaq and seeing all the KZfaq moms videos kind of help me escape from all im going through. Thank you for that congrats on the new baby and I hope you and your family are doing well. 💙💚💛💜💗 NOW BACK TO THE VIDEO

As for the sharing a room, my girls shared a room at one point and it was hard because they were so little and when one woke up, the other was kind of forced to get up too. So someone was always not completely rested. Now they have their own rooms again and I think that’s way better. Your home is home to your family first. Everyone needs somewhere to go that is all their own if that’s a choice!

My boys have always shared by choice. Honestly I love it. I catch them reading to each other and it's the sweetest. We live in the country so I have food storage all the time but for a few oddball stuff hubby goes to the store. He takes hand sanitizer and wears and mask on his face and gloves. He has a bag in his pocket to put everything in before he gets to the car and it goes straight in the wash with his clothes and he showers. Can't wait for this to be over!

I grew up sharing a bedroom and always wanted my own room and was very jealous of those who had their own room and privacy. Now as an adult I am on team share a room. I really think it helped me learn to live with others, share with others, compromise. As a teenager I had to learn to focus with distractions etc. and that I believe was a great way to learn that skill.

Having your own room is what I think is best. I am having to go to the store to get things around here. Its horrible I feel like everyone has cooties . Trying to stay away from everyone is horrible. The sanitizing you have to do just when you get out of the store is alot. But it's necessary! Everyone be safe!!

I grew up with two younger brothers, and I shared a room with both of them, even though we had the space for all three of us to have our own room, and then when I was about 7 my parents gave me my own room. My brothers continued to share until they got into their teens and then my parents gave each of them their own room. I think while they’re younger, sharing a room is totally fine! I personally think it instills great qualities of being comfortable with sharing at a young age, and also offers a lot of opportunity for the siblings to bond and become close. I think my husband and I will most likely have our kids share rooms for a few years once we’re ready to go for baby #2 😊

You could always use your basement as a guest (worse case scenario). I love your beautiful home! Just a quick story! I have been a single mom all my kids lives and building a successful family business. I had the feeling that I wanted to keep upgrading homes as I could. We only had 3 homes growing up and they were at the same Montessori school their whole lives. Our second home was great , great size great neighborhood and everything. But I felt we needed a bigger home with bigger yard to make my kids happy . When we moved both of them wished we had stayed at our last home. To them it was all they remembered and was their house. So my thought is stay in that home if you love it and have them continue making their memories. Have them share or guest could sleep in a kids room if needed!!

Easter this year was definitely depressing and not the same. It even rained which enhanced the dreariness. I know the pastors encouraged us to tune in online but I just didn't feel like it. My guess is that most believers just celebrated privately and didn't even go online to watch a sermon. One thing I've been doing to stay sane during this virus is to go for long walks (without a mask) and help any homeless guy who needs food or is thirsty and then if they choose to listen I tell them about Jesus. I have been doing my shopping in person and I can honestly tell you there's a different and surreal vibe, almost spooky or uncomfortable now with everybody wearing masks. Thanks for sharing another great video. The food looks amazing!

You've been motivating me to clean and stay on top of things. Especially since my whole family is home more than they aren't & messes can be bigger and more often because everyone's here. We're still going to the grocery store like every 2, 2.5 weeks. Only 1 of us will go so we can minimize the germs coming into our home. Everything else (toiletries, cleaning supplies if I can find any, etc.) I order from Amazon, Target or Walmart to be delivered to us.

I've still been going to the grocery store to pick up food! However, I've been going to the grocery store alone rather than bringing my mom along just to ensure that only one household member is out and about. I usually go first thing in the morning to save a bit of time and not encounter large crowds. It also gives my mom a break from going out as she is still working in healthcare during this difficult time. Great video!

Share a room for sure. Although having your own space is nice, when you’re young it’s good to create bonds and then when they’re older you can move to separate rooms. I shared a room with my sister until third grade and it was fun because we have a lot of memories from then and we switched to separate rooms as she was going into middle school and needed her space.

My 8 year old and 3 year old share, not for lack of space but because our other bedrooms aren't on the same floor as our bedroom. My 8 year old is ready to move in to her own room finally, but up until now she has been more comfortable with a roommate. Your house is beautiful and you are able to maintain it. Don't overwhelm yourself with a bigger house that is harder to maintain. I also think the smaller the house the closer you are together at all times.

I grew up sharing and it was so good for me because it taught me about conflict resolution and compromise and sharing. I went to college and my first dorm roommate didn’t know how to share a room she never had shared and she was a miserable person to live with because of it!

I think it's best kids are sharing a room at least when they are young. It builds a bond between the kids and allows them to face challenges together like the cleanliness of a room ect. While I was growing up, my family lived in a two-bedroom apartment. My parents got one bedroom and my 3 brothers and I had to share a room. As we got older we moved into a 3 bedroom house. My two younger brothers shared a room. My older brother and I got our own rooms. Anyways, I think. you should let you 2 kids share a room, and let the baby get his own room for the time being due to crying purposes.

I'd love to see cheap/diy creative/functional home projects since we are all home more, I want to work on the house but don't have too much access to buy supplies. Thanks!

I grew up sharing a room with my twin sister. I felt like I NEVER had my own space and, as close as we were, we really could have used time apart. I loved having my own space to decorate and get some quiet time away from everyone at the end of the day.

Siblings sharing a room is amazing! My 2 boys share and they love it. But it is hard because they couldent share until my little one slept through the night!

You should make a video about your self care routine!! I feel like I've had so much going on in my life right now and with everything being so crazy, I have been falling short on taking care of myself and the needs i have to be the mom i need to be for my 5 kids!! I love the way you do things and would love watching how you take care of yourself to be the mom your kids need!

Id like to see a clean and undecorate Easter video please. They always motivate me for spring. I know that might sound a little funny, but the end of Easter always mean the beginning of Spring for me. :-) I thinks it better if each sibling has their own room. Because in the long run when they get older its not such a separation issue when you do want them to have their own rooms. My husband has been going to the stores to get our necessities. He wears a masks and just gets what we need. Our grocery pickups and deliveries here are days out so a lot of time we will need and plan to get groceries on a Monday and put in a order and not be able to get it until close to Thursday. We also have a hard time going to the stores sometimes because they only let 20% of the cubic feet of people in the store. So they count how many people go in and out. Sometimes you have to wait outside for 20-45 minutes to go in stores depending on how long people are in their shopping.

Yes on undecorate. I use Instacart for grocery delivery and have them leave on my porch. I was a single Mom of 2 boys and they always shared a room. They are grown now and actually share a house with both their families. They have always been very close. They have always been protective of me. Nothing like being a boy Mom ❤💚💜💙💛

I think it is a good idea to make the 4th room the baby’s because that way the older 2 don’t feel like they are losing things. I know that both the kids are excited about the baby but it will be an adjustment for them ie less time with mom and dad. Less attention etc so having something that is staying the same may make them feel better. Also you can always shift them around if you do have guests that come. But it will only be for a small time. If Adam really wants to move. Think about video or vertical tours. I know when we sole ours and moved this October we allowed videos that way out of town people can look. We are a big military community so it works.
