Good job. I do vacuum my drapes & rods when I clean windows. Also I don’t put my shower curtain in dryer. I hang it back up and it dries naturally. I was staying at a nice hotel a few years ago before all the glass doors and no doors on shower was the trend. They only used the white shower curtains w/o the liner. I really liked that idea. You do have to wash shower curtain more often but you don’t have the wet plastic liner clinging to your skin. The shower curtain does get wet but it doesn’t get the floor wet.

I'm just like you I deep clean twice a year. Thanks for reminding me to clean my ceiling fans 🤦‍♀️ that's what I dread cleaning. One thing i LOVE to clean is all my curtains they get so dusty and when i hang them up the whole house smells like clean laundry.

I've always fall cleaned. Use the same routine as spring cleaning. Brilliant idea to clean lamp shades with lint roller. I'm going to do that when I finish this video.

We have two Scottish Terriers and no rugs and still have dust galore. When we first built this house we had dust constantly, mostly from the carpets (no dogs at that point) so it seems we traded one for another (carpet for dogs). I get the most dust in the Master bedroom where we all sleep, dander from all of us is the major contributor. So dusting in there constantly, I'm researching air purifiers. I dust the ceiling fans throughout the house at least monthly using a static duster with an extension, then deep clean as you do twice a year, much easier for me (I'm not tall). One of the worst things is leaving the cleaning behind our sectional for twice a year, dust webs, yuk! Now I try to do it once a quarter and it's not as creepy. I'm always am super motivated after watching you, thanks!

I just randomly pick somewhere to clean that doesn’t get cleaned very often. I feel it helps me stay on top of things. I keep waiting on you and chase to repaint the inside of your house since you say your paint isn’t very good. I enjoyed this video. Great cleaning motivation😊

So funny, I feel like everything you did in this video I just did last weekend. I love fall cleaning! Bought new master bedroom lamps and the thought of putting them up in front of my dirty blinds and windows was a no no! 🤣 one thing led to another and I did all my blinds, windows, ceiling fans, touched up paint on the walls and painted baseboards! You’re like a mini me! I also don’t like color in my house except for touches of green. Love the pillow case tip, lamp roller and all your inspirational videos! Happy Fall! 🍂🍁

I deep clean twice a year also...in addition to my regular cleanings. Thanks for showing your routine - I got some good tips! I have a few ideas that I do that may be of interest. First...I also put my shower curtain liner in the washer with a touch of bleach - gets it sparkling clean and disinfects. Then I rehang them both right from the washer and they air dry wrinkle-free. Second...I just started using a spray made specifically for chandeliers that I found on amazon and it works great! Gets it sparkling clean! Third...I use Clorox spray on a rag when cleaning blinds and do each slat individually. It’s a pain but goes faster than you think - and I find in addition to dust there’s some grime buildup as well just from cooking or whatever...but it gets them looking like new again. Finally...I also clean my oven and change fire alarm batteries when I deep clean. So there are just a few ideas. Love all your videos and get lots of motivation from your channel!! 😊

I do an extra deep clean of my apartment every 2 months but when I tackle a room I don't leave it until everything is done, then I can do another room.

Good morning!! Great motivation lord knows I need to deep clean lol. I hate cleaning the window sills... but its gotta get done. I usually vacuum my ceiling fan and then I found that cleaning them after with some PLEDGE furniture polish actually keeps the dust off for a longer time. So now I dust and polish and it's been great. Thank you for sharing. 💕💕

As usual your videos encourage me to declutter, clean and organize. I changed up the containers for my laundry products. I bought 2 white jugs of laundry detergent (with the button spigots) and decanted one into another container stashed away for later refills. I then washed it out and filled it with fabric softener. I use the same cup for both detergent and softener, "wipe the nose" of each spigot with the edge of the cup to make sure nothing drips and wash the cup with the laundry (as you do..great idea!). All other laundry products are in matching containers I had around the house..either white or clear. I had no idea how calming it would be. I smile every time I open the cabinet. Thanks for talking about the calming effect of less color. XO😘

Now I do spring cleaning. My kids hate doing it washing wall washing curtain taking blinds down washing everything that how my grandmother raise me. Never thought about fall cleaning. But I did do my ceiling fan last week. They had so much dust on them I started to tell my husband take them all down.

I love to clean and I do the Fall cleaning as well. I have a duster that extents, so I clean my ceiling fans weekly with that. Also, I vacuum or dust my window sills every two weeks. I use the dusting gloves to clean my plantation shutters and it goes quickly. Your videos are inspiring Ashely. I really enjoy them, and have gotten a lot of great tips on cleaning from you. I do fall clean and next week I'm off work and I was set to tackle it for a couple days...well, tell God your plans and watch him laugh b/c now we're redoing our kitchen LOL. Our glass top cracked so we're using this as an opportunity to paint cabinets, get a new sink, countertop etc.

Nice video... even though Chase almost took a header cleaning the ceiling fan. I have plantation shutters on every window of my humble abode. I'm delighted to say I went through my entire house and getting them all clean and dust free. It's a pain-in-the-you-know-what but I'm on a natural high knowing I got the job done. Next thing on my to-do list is cleaning the refrigerator/freezer. You are my inspiration. Thank you!

Similar Fall cleaning in our home. Our focus is mainly cleaning the outside. Pressure washing, painting the shutter and the handrails on the porch. Too hot in the summer months. Oh, thanks for the ceiling fan trick.

Suggestion - always spray your rag with product and never spray it directly on the mirror, light fixture, etc. The drips can warp or rust the frame over time if you spray it directly. Beautiful home. Great job!❤️

Hi ashley! I don't do fall or spring cleaning. Rather I do zone cleaning in which I tackle one room per week and deep clean it along with my regular daily cleaning. That way every room gets deep cleaned about every eight weeks. Your home always looks fabulous!!!

Great video! What I do that may help with dust is I wash our screens on our windows. We have our windows open alot and I find that it helps. It’s amazing how dirty our screens get. One tip for your wrinkled shower curtain- any time I wash my shower curtains or window curtains, I only put them in the dryer for around 7-10 minutes and then let them air dry. The wrinkles fall out as it dries. I do my big cleanings in the summer (I am a teacher) and on a snow day in the winter.

I change my shower curtain with the seasons. Right now I have leaves.....then I have poinsettias ....then Easter bunnies.... then summer flowers.....then I have an emoji curtains with an off season that I don't have. I love changing it up (itch to switch, ha ha) and I have a washable liner which I love so much better than the plastic ones. Love Love Love your ideas and thoughts. Arlene

Thank you for showing the dusty window sills and window frames! I thought it was just my house with all that dust. Also, have you tried vacuuming your blinds with your brush attachment? Game changer!

Yes my house can get super dusty, but can’t see on camera unless I’m up close like that! And yes I have done that and works very well

Omg just did my kitchen from top to bottom. All I want to do is touch up baseboards and trim. The vacuum bumbs into baseboards. But will wait till everything is done then spend a day doing touch ups every where. So satisfying. Would love to do all my windows with the blinds inside the glass.

Hookless shower curtains are awesome!!! You don’t have to mess with shower hooks. They wash up awesome and come down and go up fast!!!

Dusting is one or my least favorite thing to do by cleaning I get so sidetrack by doing it but once I see it and when it bothers my allergies bc I’m allergic to dust I need to do it daiy. & that’s too funny about you’re neighbors 😂

Kitchen island light, the main problem with them is cooking. Tiny grease and smoke particles, I swear lights just attract them, accumulate on them making them get “dirty” faster. Your island light is really beautiful! For that matter, YOUR WHOLE HOUSE! Thanks for the motivation!!

Hey lady :) I started fall cleaning before we got COVID, so I’m hoping to get back to it after this is over. I might do my lampshades today with my lint roller...that’s something small I can get done. I like to vacuum my curtains and rods, and all my vents when I fall clean, I’ve already started on my windows, hopefully I can get to it soon. :) Hope you have a wonderful day!!

I use double hook shower curtain hooks at Walmart. Also if you purchase a white cloth shower liner ($18) you can wash it too. Bleach, etc.

I prefer the pillowcase method on cleaning ceiling fans, as well. You can take them outside if the aren’t throwaways and shake them out and wash them alone to clean. Sure saves all that dust from falling to the floor, on your head, whatever! Ha! Great video!

Love your vlogs,quick tip,I never dry or iron my curtains or shower curtains/voiles etc I just wash them and hang them up,open your windows and they dry in less than 20 mins,job done 👍🥰

You may need to have your air vents sealed, the dust in your house may be coming from the attic. The HVAC guy can inspect your ducts and vents to tell you what you need.

Another area I'm having problems cleaning is under furniture like the couch and bed. Too heavy for me to move. What do you do? Move the furniture? How often?
