Some drivers in my state will drive dark colored or black For Explorers and Tatruses with a fancy Police"esque" mirror on the side. They tear down the freeway at 90+ mph and make everyone in front of them get the hell out of the left lane.

I was on the fence reading all the negative on the 10 inch screen. But decided to test drive anyway. Glad I did, Amazing! The screen does not block Los at all, and really like the position of the tablet, easy to read while driving. Ended up buying it, had a telluride on order, cancelled. The engine and driving performance is class of it's own for SUV.

Exactly that was my first impression. Horrible design by Ford Engineer again. Big fat table in portrait mode in smack middle of the SUV. Tesla has a better design cosmetically. This thing doesn’t fit in at all.

There is reason behind that 10inch vertical screen...the general Ford explorer designer chose the Infotainment this way to display a phone like idea he believes that since people look at their phone in a portrait way he could develop something in that idea because your not gonna see people holding their r phone landscape...he figures that it'd be less complication Infotainment- wise if there were a portrait phone like set up...you understand how to use a phone right?....it makes complete sense!

Nope it makes certain that the driver has better visibility because the dash isn‘t moved up. And it mean that you don‘t have to look down more like the older one.

The regular Explorer 2.3T honestly is a B-list car next to hard hitters like the new Hyundai Palisade & Kia Telluride, but the Explorer ST really has no equal in the non-luxury marketplace. This thing is an absolute rocket.

People bitching about the screen. Try to drive the car and you’ll find that it works. It’s not obtrusive or weird looking. This car drives like a million bucks. A screen can’t take away from that. I hope to get one of these

The processing of the graphics when switching to sport mode was so slow that internet explorer loaded before it did. Whoever created that center stack, needs to be demoted or sent back to design school. It’s like their copying Tesla or even the ram 1500 screen. Ford needs to really invest in their interiors.
