Despite the restrictions we're all facing this year, we're thrilled to announce a virtual concert by Grace Kelly & Friends: her 6th appearance in Frank Morgan Taos Jazz Fest since it's inception in 2015, performed and filmed exclusively for the 2020 Frank Morgan Taos Jazz Festival. The concert will be viewable on KZfaq and Grace Kelly's Facebook page- beginning on the Premiere date: Wednesday, Dec. 23 (Frank's birthday). You can also watch it at any time after that date!
An unequivocal musical prodigy, saxophonist-singer-songwriter-composer and band leader, Grace Kelly has rocked the jazz world with sold-out concerts, 13 acclaimed albums and a resumé that includes performing at the Hollywood Bowl and with Jon Batiste in the house band for “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” She has performed and recorded with renowned artists including Lin Manuel-Miranda, Dave Brubeck, Phil Woods, Huey Lewis, Harry Connick Jr., Gloria Estefan, Questlove, and Wynton Marsalis. An early protégé of Frank Morgan here in Taos, Grace has blossomed and grown before our eyes. Grace first met Frank Morgan when she was 13 yrs old and formed a very close bond until he died in 2007.
Grace appears in a documentary about Frank's life:
SOUND OF REDEMPTION: THE FRANK MORGAN STORY

Packed with thrilling music, SOUND OF REDEMPTION: THE FRANK MORGAN STORY is an absorbing documentary about a gifted alto sax player and Charlie Parker's protégée, Frank Morgan. Morgan fell hard into heroin and got to be almost as good a conman and thief as he was a musician in order to feed his habit. The habit cost him 30 years of his life in and out of prison, most of it at San Quentin, where he performed in a big band with fellow junkie jazz musicians that grew famous in the Bay Area. To bring the past into the present, director N.C. Heikin brought an all-star band together into the "Q" for a concert. This hyper-emotional event forms the backbone of this riveting film.
