The 2020 had an 8 speed drivetrain and 2021 is a 7 speed which is a downgrade. Either then that the bicycle are still very similar.

I own one and im planning to trade it. I think the weight is 30lbs or less. I can carry it to my shoulder without supporting it with my hands.

The talon 3 weighted around 30lbs... I am not sure of the 2021 model because we have not received them yet. But usually around the same range.

So technically you can but it is NOT suggested. The Geometry of the bike makes it a little more difficult for you to catch smooth transitions in the components of the bike are lower end and cannot take a lot of abuse. If you want something to take on the trail and for dirt jumping I suggest a higher end fathom or talon or if you want to do strictly dirt jumping I suggest the Transition pbj.

yes it will. depending on the brand (some tires run big some small) and a 2.8 looks to be the maximum.

yes for 2020 year model it is. But for 2021 there is no talon 3. the talon 4 will be the entry level and the talon 2 will be the upgraded version.

If you are doing mostly trial riding I suggest the talon 29; good for commuting and trail riding. If mostly street riding the roam with serve you much better. I suggest heading down to your local bike Shop and getting sized up as they both have very different riding styles.

@@gemymaklad At your weight I suggest something like the 2021 fathom 1or 2. The upgraded components especially the wheels and tires can ha del allot more and you will avoid spending allot more money upgrading your more entry level bicycle.

Bicycle manufactures do! every bicycle made by a major brand is always accompanied by n owner's manual. any mechanical issues are to be handled by an approved dealer of the brand.

A service manual should contain important torque specifications, it should state maintenance intervals, procedures for greasing whatever bearings you have, how to rebuild forks, part numbers for seals, etc. I got a new Giant, and: no reflectors, no service manual, was told that no fork seals are sold, so you just throw away the whole fork and buy a new one, no torque specs for anything, no instructions for breaking the chain, or how to know when it is worn or how to set up the length, or how to take the sprockets off, just nothing. Yeah, I got an owners manual that says ride safely, but that is not going to help anyone take care of their bike.
