Information about the GLA250 for PetrolHeads:
Its equipped with a 224 HP 4 cylinder engine which produces 350 Nm of torque. 0 - 100 km/h (62 mph) can be reached in 6,7s. The top speed is electronically limited to 240 km/h (149mph) but due to the winter tires is was limited to 210 km/h (130mph)

I definitely like it! I've got the 2019 model comparing the rear of the car, I definitely like this one! My car is going soon as I need a bigger car which I'm really sad about because I love how the GLA drives. I know the model I've got there was mixed reviews at the time but I think it's a fantastic little car.

Avoid sudden movement of camera and you will be a pro. Nice review. Materials and sustainability can be discussed more in the review. Rest all is awesome review for intrested buyer and merc for promotion. 😉 Good Luck Man! I hope this does not have a fake exhausts. Where is sparewheel placed? Drive looks fantastic. Nice location and a road stretch to test. Try this on some hill climb road as well. Don't take it offroad.

I have old gen. Gla. I really like it because is a simple A class with a little more body, and jacked up suspensions. The new one looks heavy. I like mine cuz its sooo easy and agile to drive...

Trust me, you need to test drive and see it for yourself. Definitely more smooth and easier to use when it comes to driving, technology or infotainment than the old gen!

Hello, such an amazing car, i wanted to buy the 2020 model which was out of stock in Dubai, thanks god I didn’t coz i love this one more, and i was dying for GLA with MB big screen, I have 350E coupe, any idea when it will reach Dubai 😢 again thanks alot

in this new model, did mercedes change the way you can adjust the seat for the passenger? i have the old model and seat adjustment for the front passenger is annoying and hard to reach specially when you have big hands.

Yes, they changed the look of the buttons & the buttons are also now located closer to the driver/passenger ✌🏼

Totally right! These were just the winter tires with normal rim, the summer tires had the Edition1 specific rims which were 19 inch and looked way better ☝🏼

@@nongrada6004 TKS. man, but is to late for me, I have 48 ears old and I 'm monospecialised - I work for the state (goverment agency) and here in Bucharest the wage is so smol (just 750 euro per month) and i dont want to make credit at a bank, because look, the future is so not predictible. Because my age is this, I have minimum chance to have more salary.

I get that this will sell, but this looks very strange. It doesn’t have the lines of the previous generation GLA which made that car stand out. This looks like any run of the mill economy crossover on the road.

Honestly yes, I am also missing the good old lines as we had them on the old one but all in all the look is finished in a great way, finally the GLA fits to the modern look and design language of the latest Mercedes cars ☝🏼

Everything is almost identical expect from seating position and driving comfort which is different and also better if we are speaking about the GLA. Also the GLA looks more unique in my eyes, A-class Headlights are basic and in the end of the day a matter of taste. If you talk about the AMG versions I am more an A-class person then. Would definitely recommend making your own opinion, try to test both and decide then 👍🏼

As an Urban City ride I would definitely prefer the compact one as well, you won’t find any parking spaces if you drive a GLS here in Düsseldorf for example 😅

Front angle looks aggressive with those diamond grille & bigger than usual. GLA should be better equipped externally, with plastic wheel arch, not lux & a giveaway.

That grille is honestly more beautiful than the Pan Americana grille. I don't understand why Merc would choose to go with something uglier in their flagships in the name of advancement.

Yes, I am a huge Mercedes Enthusiast but as I already mentioned I didn’t like the old one at all, therefore really impressed by the new GLA. Also I don’t get paid to say all of this, I give my personal opinion and share my passion but still you are right I am not 100% objective since I really feel it 😅

Personally i hate piano black and carbo fibre effects on car interior. The are not nice at all and stopoed me buying a Mercedes. I am a traditionalist. I prefer wood trim detail on my cars modern open pore and Matt woods in grey or bleached or light wood colours look much nicer than these plastic effects carbon fibre us like looking at an unfinished fibre glass sheet. Its a base material not a trim. I would rather have machined or polished stainless steel, but even thats a push for myself. Explain how carbon fibre weave is sporty how? Wgat us sport about a large fabric weave patern that lookes like cheap table mats we had in 1970. It wiukd be better to use a nice fabric to enhance the interior. The engine noise is quite intrusive a speed, long distance that could become irritating and wearing

Keith Newton That’s all a matter of taste! I would prefer everything over piano, because I don’t like the look & the daily usage 😅 The engine noise is really quiet & not intrusive if you switch to comfort ✌🏼

AGAIN no room for the driver's right leg. Mercedes do this mistake for every released car so if you drive for 1 hour you are going to have a bruise on the knee. Well done!

Every driver is different so why to design a central bridge so large that get also LARGER in the proximity of the dash board, Is not even look particularly good. So it is just a design mistake that compromises the confort, maybe not for all the people but surely for many .

Laughable .. it’s a Nissan underneath, yeah folks, I’m not lying. The GLA, is NOT A MB. Buy a 2020’ Subaru Crosstrek Limited. It’s better than this, better than the BMW X1, and Audi Q3. Far better value. Yes, no label, but it’s value far exceeds above. JMO.
