COOL! And v v risky, although I don't see its use in any of my activities, and to be honest can't fathom its use for military aswell. It is clearly not a signalling device, it won't be used to burn people as a torture device, coz military kills and moves on, prison guys torture, right? But I still LOVE it! This is real deadly laser unlike my physics interferometer project where I used laser pointer to create interference and long distance point to random buildings like this video. My keychain laser pointer just didn't burn or blinded a bird or someone looking out the window

Anything over 2 watts I wouldn’t even use indoors unless you have something to shine it on as a barrier that it can’t go through like a big rock or tile or something and of course with glasses on due to the brightness there will be and because of starting a accidentally fire. Under two watts you can be okay as long as your careful and not holding it at the wall at one spot for any given amount of time and also if you have a barrier which don’t hurt. Under 2 watts you can technically be okay without glasses if your super careful and only shine it on dark things that are mostly black that absorb most of the light but it’s very risky, light colored objects will still be super bright and could cause long term damage overtime, and if you hit something reflective it’s over for your eyes. And ofcourse don’t even shine it and anything living or aircraft’s or other peoples houses as it could hurt someone and get you a felony. Just looking out for y’all.

I was really surprised by that at the end of the video as well. But then, this company is making a laser pointer... which historically has been the tool of choice for only the most juvenile and obnoxious ADD-fueled kids society has, to try to irritate and disrupt as many people as humanly possible, for a laugh...then you make the laser strong enough to burn things, and you shape it just like a lightsaber. I almost have half a mind to blame anything bad that happens on the company who sold it😔

I doubt it's really 5000mw though. It seems to be burning stuff just as well as a 1200mw laser. 5W would probably blind users just from glare lol
