2020 History and Mystery Tour - St Albans WV

Күн бұрынLearn a little about the haunted history of our small town. Visit Teays Hill Cemetery, the banks of the Coal River, the Chilton House (now Angela's on the River), St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Shelton College, and Lantz Lumber!

Where did you get the information on the Lantz Lumber building? I noticed that you did not mention George Weimer.

David, our friend Barry from St. Albans on Purpose prepared that segment. We were limited on time, but we focused on Mr. Weimer during last year's in-person tour.

My mom said her family lived in Scary holler near St Albany’s. I was wondering if you heard of it because I can’t seem to find any information on it?

I don't think it's actually called Scary Holler. Let me check with my sister and see what it's actually called. I was raised in SA and moved away in 1989, so I'm a lil rusty on the street names.

It is Teays Hill Cemetery and it is off of Coal River Road. It is beautiful, historic, and has a great walking path!
