2020 Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition and Sport Line Revealed: Fastest Ever Type R - Inside Lane

This is the new 2020 Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition, the fastest variant of the FK8 hot hatchback yet. Power from its turbocharge 2.0-litre VTEC engine has remained the same, but it is now 47kg lighter thanks to a lack of air conditioning and navigation. New BBS alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Cup 2 tyres give addition grip, potentially making this car the fastest of its kind around the Nurburgring. Just 100 car will be coming to Europe, 600 to America.
A second variant of the Type R has also been revealed in the form of the Type R Sport Line. This car lacks the huge rear wing synonymous with the FK8. It get softer suspension, Michelin Pilot Sports 4S tyres, and more soundproofing for a quieter drive.
Pricing has yet to be announced for these hot hatchbacks.

Or the regular and a small spoiler. Be nice if they are easily swappable. One for the track and the other for daily cruising

So I think this video is wrong. The new blue is called "boost blue." Not "racing blue." And they will only be producing 525 limited edition ctr for north American, not 600.

We want (in USA) the Sportline. Oh, and by the way, give us a damn spare tire already (I'd happily give up the convoluted frankenstein muffler for additional room).

Damn why this type r is expensive in canada? Like the yellow special edition . Its coning to america and canada. 100 in canada . I think the price will be crazy

A lot of people have been asking for it. Engineers have managed to balance the stability of the car through a few other means.
