@@ofcbob6391 it's been great. no problems whatsoever. oil dilution issues are only problematic in the northern climates from 2017-2019 model years. i live in tennessee so it's being driven more in the southern climate. it does amazing in the snow and the awd system is phenomenal. enough room in the trunk for a vacation for 4 adults + plenty of room in the backseat with good amenities for charging phones and earbuds. the 1.5t is plenty of power for my needs and i average around 35 mpg. sound system sucks though

I didn’t notice anything unusual. It’s always good to get it inspected if it becomes a nuisance though.

Which did you buy, either?

I’ve heard the least amount of problems from Honda’s CVT, so I expect it’s pretty reliable.

it's totally fine when you turn on the heated seats and let it run for about 8-10 minutes before leaving your house

they push out plenty of air and the cabin cools down quickly. A/C isn't incredibly cold until turned down to about 65, and the rear seat air vents could push out a little more air but it's good enough.

late reply but we just went up a 6,000ft tall mountain in Asheville NC with 4 people and all their luggage with cruise set at 72 mph and it pushed really well. steady 3,500 rpms which isn't bad at all.

Nah, but the turbocharged engine feels peppier. They drive about the same in my opinion

Cross shopping between the two.. I like the looks very sharp on the Honda but I do like trying new brands. Never owned a Toyota but family and others have. I’ve rented a rav 4 adventure trim and thought it was amazingly built and high reliability is a good peace of mind.

This once went for around $30k I think, but that was a couple years ago.

Haven’t driven a new Cherokee yet. I’ve driven an 18 and I prefer the CR-V, but only for the reliability. They both drove pretty similar, but the Cherokee tends to look better in the higher trims, in my personal opinion.

Jeeps are notoriously unreliable. I'm not a Jeep hater by any means, but I've spoken to many owners who have nothing but trouble with them. My brother is a mailman, and the Jeep Wrangler is one of the only vehicles you can buy in the USA with factory right hand drive so naturally a lot of his co-workers drive them... And they're always breaking down. He drives an older Cherokee right hand drive and has his fair share of problems. Recommendation is to avoid Jeep. They look awesome though

Honestly it’s probably because most cars take forever to update. My old crv would sit at 22 mpg forever. Regardless if I was doing 55 or 95mph
