The new 2020 Honda CR-V continues the model's tradition of delivering practicality and excellent built quality. However, Honda no longer offer an iDTEC diesel option, instead presenting a highly relevant hybrid. With great real world economy and plenty of refinement, this CR-V Hybrid is a great addition to the range.
A 2.0-litre petrol engine and battery pack is paired with a CVT gearbox to power the front wheels. All-wheel drive is also available. 181bhp and 315Nm of torque are at your disposal, as is 497-litres of boot space.
The Honda CR-V Hybrid is at its best when driven in an urban environment and making the most of its electric power. If your next SUV is set to be the family battle bus, this is worth considering.

Nah! I think the future is completely electric. Hybrids are the bridge to the future.

Will people *please* stop calling it a CVT? The Honda system has no traditional CVT, or really a transmission at all. Two electric motors in front and one in the back, and a clutch to occasionally connect the engine to the wheels. That's it.

Honda states that it has a CVT.

Oh! He said "a fair few years ago" not thirty years ago. Was wondering what he was on about telling us he was a young motoring journalist thirty years ago.
