Would love to see you guys try a comparison video, I know it can be hard to get 2-3 different cars together on the same day, especially needing other staff but it would be a huge step up on the channel.

With a small remap it will perform better. New interior here is top notch. The previous was a bit cheapy

Gear shift is very slow when you're in automatic. Gets much faster when you use the paddle shifters ! So far I got as good as 5'20 with my own P300, so 1s faster than this

It's because is has 8 gears and thus short gears and that increases acceleration.

Not a proper Jag without 6 cylinders. This one sounds like a Toyota Corolla.I drive an XE S, V6. 0 to 100, 5.1sec, average fuel consumption, 8.5 litres per 100km. So sad they had to drop the engine with the facelift because of European emission standards.

I mean that’s also because they retired the old V6 for the new I6, hopefully we’ll see it in the XE in a bit

Yuck only 5.1 to 100kph my Toyota mark x is 3.5 v6 0-100 in 4.7 and only cost 10grand

PDrive TV also tested the original 200PS version, which did 0-100kph in 6.8 seconds. 100PS difference, only 0.4-0.5 seconds gain?

If i'm guessing right the P250 and the P300 are the same engine but with different map staging?

yep, if tuned they well have the same power output being both 320hp.

I quite like this car. Looks quite handsome inside and out especially in the flesh. But by golly if you spec it to any acceptable level of luxury it can get extremely expensive.

All jaguars are expensive compared to their German competitors - and you get lesser quality in almost every regard when comparing similar specs. Massively overrated manufacturer.

@@oppoh739 Not True, Iam a BMW fan but these Jaguars especially the new XF P300 are looking great for a big luxury limousine and they got an nice interior….actually I like the new Jaguar XF more than the current 5 series

@@joeybrooks5625 So true, everything is a 2l turbo now, I mean gti, golf r, s3, cupra's, ''135i'' and thats just a joke thet dare to call it that way, hyundai N, and so on everything is a 2l turbo, it's so freakin boring, people are robots just like their cars. Nobody stands out anymore. Thank god there is still people like us.

@@pb-pe9ug that's my point. They look all alike. If there wasn't the jag badge, I wouldn't know it's a jag. I'd go so far to say the xe or xf could be a Japanese or Korean make.

@@CYFL79 not to me. While the present jags may be genuinely good cars their exterior and interior design is boring. The good news though is that the new CEO is planning to lift the brand from "premium" to "luxury". This means jaguar will compete with brands such as Bentley, Aston Martin, Maserati but not anymore with Audi, BMW and Mercedes. Good decision in my view.
