Love this Channel. You’ve filled a void in the viewing public by providing us with English reviews and previews of KDM or soon-to-be released cars from Korea that will come to overseas territories. You’ve one-up’d all the other Korean channels simply because you cater to English viewers too, unlike 99% of those channels. It’s rather annoying when you go to A YT channel with an English name but everything else is in Korean and not even any English subtitles. Rant over lmao. Keep it up!!

I can't think of an other car that has had a go-fast makeover that has made as much of a difference as the Forte GT. It's an ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS car for the price. It's baffling how it's so inexpsive, and it still drives in a pretty sporting way. It's got enough power to spin those poor stock tires off for days too :-D I just traded in my Focus ST for one. I shopped the Mazda3, Civic Si, and GTI and the Kia just wins for the money in big big ways. After driving it, i totally started to understand it's brilliance.

Subscribed because of the high quality production and the ability to display Korean cars in a nice and understandable way for non-korean people. Hopefully you can review old and new kdm cars. Keep at it dude

Nice review! This car looks really nice especially from the rear view. Beautiful tail lights. 10 years ago I would have never considered buying a Kia. My wife and I own a Stinger GT now and our second car will be a Kia as well if they keep up this level of quality. Looking forward to your Stinger review!

Just came out in Australia, drove it and it's FANTASTIC! Feels more gutsy then the i30NLine, whilst being bit over 1k cheaper and having HEAPS more features!

Thank you very good review. I was waiting to see what Kia would do with this new Gen of Forte as it relates to the sportier version. I have a 2017 Forte5 SX 1.6 Turbo. My first Kia and a very good car so far. Great balance between sporty and comfort. My other car is a Kia Soul EX .... also a great car with plenty of space for hauling and on-road comfort. I am in Canada and I can say that Kia has ensured excellent heating systems for colder climates Korea is a major auto producer and this channel fits in well for those of us that want to know whats happening in Korean auto industry.

Love your reviews. I believe we have this one in Australia but called the Cerato GT. Since we are not having the newer Optima or Niro here this car is probably the best option. I would like to wait for the new KIA sharp looking badge. Also hoping the instrument cluster and the centre lcd screen will get an upgrade soon.

Only really drove Audi , but must say kia man is making some great changes and for the better , really like this Forte and many other designs you guys are making .might be coming over that way this 2020 if this keeps up and from what i know my pockets will be a lil more less strained

Amazing review! love the way you speed up around the corners. lol I hope we get the 5 door in Canada. Love the tail lights on the five door better too, forte rims are better looking than the GT rims.

You do great videos man. I just subscribed. Like the other commenter said it’s cool to be able to see ahead for the foreign market for english-only speakers like me. Also just curious how did you learn English so well? Is it common for Koreans to be fluent speakers?

It's also important to note that this car has a fully independent rear suspension that helps it handle much better than the regular car. I love this so much better than the regular model. Inside and out, it's just a better car.

Thanks for another video! Looks like this car is quiet on the interior so they decided to pipe some exhaust sound in. You look like you had a lot of fun driving the car. :) KIA is making waves with these new vehicles, too bad they don’t have something similar to Hyundai’s “N” Division. Maybe in the future they will do some powerful sporty cars.

This would look good as a crossover.

Nice job on the review as a owner of a 2015 Forte5 Sx I think this is a pretty good update.. I find the noise genrator a bit much. Super fake. My 15 model does not have it and the car sounds great... Summer tires are a very nice option..

Also do the 10 seat adjustments include lumbar adjustment? And what adjustments does the passenger seat have? And how many speakers does the audio system have and does it have a subwoofer?

Just bought the saloon version here in Australia... Ours has a local suspension tune too. As for the dct being almost as good as vw.... It felt unnoticeable to me (i had a skoda fabia rs, so a polo gti with a sensible body) compared to the vw system where it was frankly painful at times. The cerato GT DCT was as good as a normal automatic in that it was unnoticeable. Being a Kia you know it wont handgrenade unlike the vw dsg... I found the ride supple and controlled, and i grew up on peugeot 504 and 505 so good ride is important.

The U.S. is going to get the 4 door sedan version of this car. And I hope a hatchback version will be included too. The U.S. always had a Forte hatchback called the Forte5. So the only question will be, will it be the European Ceed? Or the GT? In Korea, can you get the GT with a 6 speed manual? Or it's only available with the 7 speed DCT? I kinda like the GT b/c it looks sleeker than the Ceed. And I'm glad that all the text in the car is in English. Even though I'm Korean, if I ever move to Korea and buy a car, I guess that's one feature I have to look for.

The 5 door is better by far. I have a 2018 Forte LX and love it. If the 5 door comes with a manual transmission it will be a hot seller, I know the sedan GT does have a manual option and no CVT. I am however torn between the Veloster and the Forte GT. The Veloster N has 45 more HP but it's too small and a bit too loud for my liking. But love them both. Waiting on the release of the 5 door in the USA, possibly will be called Forte 5 GT

At 9:55 I think I can understand why they pipe in artificial engine sounds, that 1.6 sounds Buzzy when it's revving out Dreadful actually. So artificial sound probably a good thing although the car just perform nicely.

I like this car but I am disappointed with the reshaping of the body. The last generation of the Forte 5 looked excellent, however, this new version looks too much like an SUV. I would like to know if the Sound Generator operates through a microphone placed inside the engine compartment, or is it some sort of false prerecorded play back?
