Where other reviews blather on a lot, hold on too many outside shots of the car (we get it, we know what it looks like), this review is concise and more informative than what I've seen so far. I'm hoping to testdrive one of these (here in the Netherlands, where the steering wheel will be on the correct side ;) and will probably buy it. One of the best things about this car in my opinion is the fact that even tall people can comfortably sit with enough room above the head so we won't have to fear going over speedbumps. I'm 195cm myself, so I was VERY happy to see you have so much space above your head and that you added your height information. I've testdriven some other cars, like the Renault Zoe, great car, best navigation screen I've seen so far that is 100% visible while I wear my polarized sunglasses, so I wonder how this screen will be seen.

I bought a 2019 model 2 months ago and I am very pleased with it .I have the 4 version as opposed to this 2 or 3 version have a few more bits and pieces .My dash and media screen is very slightly different ,maybe because its a year old now .Ye I get 60 on average in town but I reckon I will get maybe 70 to 75 on a motorway .Because of covid I havent been anywhere far to test this.Ye its a great smooth car but Im still trying to understand sports mode

Hi. I have the Kia Niro Hybrid 2019 UK model, and it's an excellent car. My only gripe is the location of the speedo. It is directly behind my right had when driving normally. I cannot find any way to move it to the centre screen directly behind the steering wheel. Anyone else having this problem? If so did you work out a solution? I'm considering buying an external speedo to attach to the dashboard as long as they are accurate. Any help appreciated.

EV model is best if you have off-street parking and can install a charging socket. If you don’t have that, then this hybrid model (without plug in) may be the best for you.

The Mazda CX-5 is more fun- this Niro is better for saving fuel. I like the looks and the longer warranty compared to a Prius.

Was interested but no AWD!

Just approaching 70,000 in my Niro 2 hybrid, still drives like new, materials like new. They don't tell you that hybrid performance is better in summer than winter as batteries are more efficient in warmer dryer weather. I consistently get 68-72mpg over 17'C, 56-60mpg under 7'C and I don't hang about. Mines a company car and half the tax price over my colleagues with BMWs and Audis and probably a nicer car too drive.
