Yeah, the tune really makes a bigger difference than I originally thought it would. I've run tunes on a couple other types of bikes where the difference in performance was negligible, but in the 500's case my experience was night and day. Huge increase in power and acceleration. HUGE. For reference, my first mod was twisting the TPS und pulling the core from the OEM exhaust, the top speed w/ that was 102mph. Now I have it mapped with Dynojet Commander V and a Graves muffler; 115 top speed and it gets there waaaay more quickly. *Thumbsup on the videos, brother- great content! *Subscribed

thanks! convinced mine had some odd mapping stock from what I keep hearing about people tuning theirs. I've ridden the tuned 500excf's and honestly never felt a big difference from mine to theirs. and trust me I wanted to feel a big difference because I was ready to buy a new ecu till I rode ones that had it done

how are you liking the thrill seekers seat cover without the ribs ? does it grip a lot ?

Yeah if I sit down more I usually get the cover without them. I run them on my crf450r bc I stand up a lot more on it

What tuner do you run on your bike for the exhaust?

It's the stock ecu right now. I'll probably buy the vortex at some point

So originally how many mph did it reachat top speed??

It did 103 mph once with me on a long highway. Some people claim more some less but that’s what mine did

Could you pull the front end up at 150kph? I see this guy on tik tok getting a bunch of views but he puts music over every video.. he shows the speedo at 150kph then pulls the front end up.. as a fellow racer for 10 years and now a wheelie guy I just can’t see a 450 pulling the front end up at 150.. but you could be the one to tell me?

Had to look up the difference from km to mph but nah man it won’t pull the front wheel at 90 mph /150km. You have to pull it before that around 70. It’ll do 90 on the back wheel if you already have it up

@@trashhousecycles Look up Guy named "jussiperkele", he pulled easily wheel up with 450 exc at 160kmh and Even pulled 125 exc at 145 kmh

@@xfdfff2620 maybe he did, maybe he lied. I know for a fact a 125 doesn’t get up to those speeds without a different gearing setup. I own one

@@trashhousecycles well I have personally pulled ktm exc 125 which only had different CDI at 135 kmh and it wasn't really even a challenge, and I can also wheelie My personal 125 at 120 kmh which wasn't working properly (had hole in reeds) and it has a lot of weight on front compared to ktms because of heavier forks and its desing And his videos are defenitely real, u can see them yourself
