I hope people realize how influential this song is. This song propelled NCT’s popularity, and was an extremely strong foundation for NCT 2020. I’m glad SM took advantage of this song’s success and continued promoting NCT for almost the rest of the year. Before Kick It was released, NCT was seen by most kpop fans as that one group with a weird-ass concept that you would occasionally listen to. Now, people see NCT as one of the leaders of kpop. NCT 2020 was truly phenomenal. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Ikr. They really grew so big this year. Like damn a million seller unit (NCT 127), a double million sellers for 2 albums (resonance 1 & 2), A Daesang, multiple awards, 25 million views in 24 hours and 100 million views in 1 month for Make A Wish. Like wow! Especially the fact that we are named the lazy ass fandom in streaming and voting. Imagine the records they hold if the pandemic wasn't even a thing. They would have went on a lot of tours with all members and sold more albums. They will get bigger next year.

I could even remember last year I saw a lot of videos both from Kpop fans and musicians saying that NCT is SM's biggest failure because they were not winning awards back then and when they have one that means they are lucky enough to be in SM and benefit from the "Big3" privilege card, that they were not half as talented and as popular as EXO. But now look at them, I mean having plenty of members is actuallt an advantage to them, except the fact that they are unique from other boygroups for such reason, they also take turns with comebacks while others may relax and prepare for another comeback. I mean no boygroup in the industry can do one comeback after another and with varying concepts. Only NCT.

they did grow bigger last year but some of the nct members were overworked like lucas,ten,taeyong and mark.

@@ChizaSionSumintan Honestly that is such a big issue with people , like they judge and criticize groups from the "Big3" super super harshly . And sometimes they remind me of a penny , one sec they'll be calling them "failures" next they'll be praising how good their latest hit was. I also noticed that many would compare them to their previous seniors , like back when EXO debuted , they were also mocked and called failures of SM and called talentless unlike their seniors Super Junior. Then now with NCT , they have also been harshly mocked and called failed "clones" of EXO. But what many should start realising is if you mess with SM groups , they come back stronger. Like how EXO became one of the largest influences in Kpop and still are , while NCT is also making history of their own. Just wait and see what these ever growing and expanding group can bring to the future of Kpop.

#Taeyong is not only a visual. He is an accomplished artists. There are many great dancers, rappers in Kpop. But he has something else. He puts colours to his rap lines. Never delivers the same routine, flow, he adapts it to the vibe of the song, like an artist applies touches of colours to his canvas. His musicality is expressed with every single body moves. It is not only about a set of skills no matter how you excel at them. It is what you create with it. He is one of the most interesting artist with G Dragon, TOP and Taeyang from Bigbang.

Mark and the rest of the Dream members has probablt the best foundations in Dance from within the SM training system, even Chenle is catching up (in terms of dance) as he joined the latest in Dream. 127 has among the most individualistic styles but they come together wonderfully. He is also such a powerful rapper that people forget he has more than one talent. The man can sing and plays the guitar and is a lyricist too.

This is the real Song of the Year, not because people play it in their cars or stream it online. It's Song of the Year because every time you hear the song start playing, you automatically want to stand up and start dancing to it, because the iconic dance move is right at the start of the song. Many idols enjoy dancing to it too, so it really is SOTY for them.

this "kick it" performance is like the best legendary performace out of all the other kick it performances. mark's solo, taeyong's stage performace, johnny's abs (smhow looks extra fine today), haechan's voice, the other's stage performace, the outfits, the choreography, everythings just falls into the place where it's supposed to be perfectly. this is one hell of a *masterpiece*

NCT 127 should’ve won at least Best Dance Performance Male Group. Kick It was so good and even non fans knows of this song. The other group won because they have bigger fandom. They picked quantity over quality. 127 made so much impact with kick it. Next year let’s try harder and give them what they deserve.

Mark really meant it when he wrote the lyrics "Mark is absolutely fully capable"... His rapping is the best and his dance is top-tier as well. 4 years ago, i never thought he could pulled out a solo dance like this but look at him now. Always a main rapper, and now a main dancer.
