I love the progress Eagle has made in terms of composure, you can see Drew losing it a bit but Eagle just put his head down and ground his way through those birdies. Shows he put a lot of work in during the off season.

Difference between 950 and 1000+ ratings... long as you can make 9 or 10 out of 10 from 40 feet and in doesn't matter if you can throw it 1000 feet or 350 feet off the tee

Rocky Mount has a reservoir where I go to throw it forms a nice valley with about 30 ft decline and its around 800 ft long and 500 wide its my favorite place to throw because I can rip it downhill and its great exercise

Great coverage, the course is probably too easy though, gets a little repetitive to watch birdie after birdie, still a fun event to see though.

no way... this course isn't easy at all... these guys are just good. Its a risk/reward layout and I personally love it. Its the age old debate of US Open (consistently difficult every year) vs Augusta National or Torrey Pines (who can score the lowest round). I personally love to see the pros get PRO scores more than seeing them struggle. The only thing I WOULD change is the hole order. Some (or all) of those difficult holes need to be on the back 9 for more dramatic build ups. Hole 1, 2, and 3 should honestly be 16, 17, 18.

@@itsneight1260 Routine 250-350 ft hyzers for pros is easy though. I would bet that if you asked, most pros would agree it's easy for a DGPT event. Again, I like watching it for the amazing scenery and Jomez's production quality more than the actual shots. It's an iconic course, but the level of play has increased and when the wind is down it's routine hyzers for days.

→ First off, thank you for the amazing coverage as always! → The following comment intended as constructive criticism (but disregard if I'm the only one who feels this way): I noticed that there was definitely a lot of time spent on getting a couple of angles for the "pre-putt", with the following format - (1.) a close-up camera angle facing the putter presumably to get facial expressions and then (2.) a more traditional side-angle shot showing both the putter and the basket. → It felt like the time-ratio between angles (1.) and (2.) was very disproportionate. To me at least, I felt like there needed to be much less time for angle (1.) and much more time for angle (2.). The longer you have the video showing (1.) the zoomed-in angle showing just the player (and not the basket), the more I began to feel jarred / disoriented. When you see the player and the basket at the same time, you have an infinitely better sense of where everyone is in relation to the hole at large. → Again, maybe it's just me, but it felt like the (1.)::(2.) ratio in the video was too close to 50::50, when I feel like it should be something like 20::80.
