This was one of the best races I've been to in a long time, the quarantine could have been part of it as was seeing all the people I've known for years from when I worked a whole lot more often in racing- some of the best family you can have btw :) - but the racing was REALLY tight, the car turnout was great, plenty of wild rides and saves-like promod was 15 years ago just faster :-) --- plus the fact that Todd and Keith pulled off having spectators - all culminated in one badass, fun and exciting race weekend! I talked to one of you guys for a minute up there, I was happy to see you guys up and out filming 🙂🙂🤘🏻

I don't know a whole lot about racing and I have a couple of questions: why do guys hold on to the back end of the car when it starts its burnout? How many horsepower do these cars have? And I still don't understand how a car that has a slower time can have a higher speed.

They hold onto the rear end of the car so it stays straight starting the burn out, these cars have about 3000-3500hp, it’s all about the tunning on what mph they go even if it’s a slow time.. you can go 3.80 at 221mph and others can go 3.67 at 210 it’s all about how they tune suspension, timing, tire pressure rpms blah blah blah.. hoped that cleared some stuff up

It's sad to see the bodies of these cars getting more radical all the time. We enjoy them because they look like real cars-not funny cars. This ruined funny car racing, now Pro-Mod is following ......
