chrisgraydon maybe you got lucky. 90% of the people on here are saying the cvt is bad. I really hope Nissan made it better. Glad your car is still working. I had a maxima 2000 SE and I loved it. It was 5 automatic transmission. No issues and sold it when it had 178k

I still love the stinger because it’s a hatch and very sexy. But I don’t know how I feel about the interior. The interior feels little cheap. I prefer my accords interior. So I am keeping my accord for a long time unless they come with AWD or type r 😍. I might lease a truck soon with my brother Tbh and me and him split the payment. So I pay 150$ and he pays 150$ because the truck won’t be used everyday.

yes I agree 100%, I really like this Sentra, Nissan did a great job. yes so I drove and it does have a lot of road noise even at 40-50 miles, I didn't get to do 80 miles with it. most people will have the radio or music on but if you don't have anything on then its very loud and annoying. I drove the same one I reviewed which is the highest trim. not sure which one you have. But this Sentra is much better than the last one for sure

@@Iegend17 Then it's not just me. Lol. I will pull the carpets this week and put some stick down sound deadiner in the main cab and trunck and that will help. They have some type of plasti. Shields under the cab also which will make is an echo chamber. I will fill them with insulation if I have to. Lol Thanks.

D. Foxx yes true but it’s a 2200$ package sadly. Like it should be standard on this SR trim. Even the sv is the same you have to add a package to get a sunroof. And that package in the sv is almost a 2500$ package. The civic offers sunroof on the Ex Trim which is a mid trim. But Nissan has better offers and discounts.

Jeremy Kelsey I think you should be fine tbh. The seat goes back pretty far and there is a good amount of head room and another thing there is a good amount of shoulder room. But what impressed me is that there is a very good amount of hip room. Overall you should be find in it. Very nice car but I hope the transmission holds up

I'm about your height and had a used Sentra back in the 1990's that was bought as a beater car. It was one of the most-fun cars that I ever owned.

Something was wrong with your car because I have a 2018 Sentra and the transmission is fine till this day. Almost 2 years with it.

My wife has had her 2017 Nissan Sentra SV for 3 yrs. Over 40k miles & her CVT is just fine.

I do agree they are pretty bad. But I hope Nissan made it better for 2020. I really hope Nissan stops the cvt and make a real automatic. One of the Nissan sales people told me the new maxima might come with a real automatic.

Barry, I have a 2013 Sentra and it's on its third transmission in under 66,000 miles and Eco mode driving. If their still using Jatco transmissions then I wouldn't buy it.

@@Iegend17 you are right. I hated sentras but the 2020 caught my attention with it's looks and interior. I wished If they are going the CVT route, they should have made an hydbrid versions and gave them the CVTs. That would drastically increase the mpgs and it would make sense to take CVT then. I don't see a point here making cars unreliable.

The Veggie Burgers Honda interior yes but the exterior for sure Nissan is killing it. Honda has very nice soft materials inside but Nissan doesn’t. Of course Honda has great engines and transmissions

Yeah the Hondas are ugly. Especially the front. Looks like some toy car lol, but overall the quality and the engine of Hondas are better. They just need a revamped exterior, then they would really be top tier.
