The headroom was already the most I’ve seen on a teardrop and makes the feel inside much bigger, and now even more. Clever improvement and nice walk through.

I have been building cabinet/etc. professionally for over 35 years and have built several trailers in the last few for friends and family I have to say.... "Nice job." Also, I like a few of the details that I haven't noticed on other rigs and those too were a nice touch. Keep up the great job!!!

You need to have a large steel cargo box in the front, you need a larger water tank,have two propane tanks,and a internal gaily !!!

I loved it! Only would do a few modifications. Solar panel on the roof, remote switch to lock/unlock galley hatch - inside main compartment, the storage cupboard under the mattress - I would turn that into a table for when sitting. Could eat off it, laptop for working inside etc. Just have a base-bracket on the floor and a post that would store inside. When you want to use it, fold the mattress and it would be up in seconds. (rest feet in storage depression? sure... why not). And last thing.. I would have the mattress split. So one person could lay down and the other have their side folded for seating... of if solo camping/travel, I would just have a bed on one side and seating on the other, with that hatch cover as a lagoon table... it would be perfect. (my 2 cents).

FYI - Viva paper towels also stay tightly rolled, like the blue paper towels (shop towels).

I just bought an aluminum canopy with heavy duty racks for my truck. Going to outfit it with an awning to set up a cook stove and table/chairs under it and a bed inside the canopy. Trying to decide if I want a separate tent for a shower and portable toilet or put an awning on the other side with a room set up on it.

Nice upgrades and head room demo at end. What is the distance from the bottom of the “ under the trailer storage compartment “ to the roof.? Can you stand on that compartment? If you can, than a short person can stand up inside to change!

I like how the partner stove integrates into the rear with a custom-built storage/shelf system. I'm certainly interested in one of these units for traveling.

Biggest thing I would change is to drop the whole floor. Instead of just the storage box. That way a bigger guy like me doesn't have his knees in his chin when sitting on the couch. I like the fiberglass body. I like the removable tongue. I like the sliding cabinet doors in the back. I like the towel holder.

Would it be possible to get a Bean with enough frame available in the front to mount and last down a smallish dual sport motorcycle ~350lbs?

I wish you would have the option to have a instant hot water so you could take a shower and have hot water for the sink

Great looking little tear drop! I would recommend: a lock-n-roll hitch/coupler system for better articulation off road. A swing-away trailer jack for ground clearance and more secure cabinet latches in the galley and the main cabin for those wash-board dirt roads. When will you guys go after thee NuCamp's 320 Boondock - that's a great size?

I've watched all your videos, and I think this is best yet. One thing that regularly gets missed in your videos (and this one is no exception) are shots of underbody, discussion of clearance, etc., which should be a focus for off-road versions. How much clearance is lost due to underbelly water tank and how does it affect departure angle? Does water tank have significant effect on tongue weight when full vs. empty? Do you protect underbody with any kind of aluminum sheeting? What size tubing is frame built with? And speaking of off-road readiness, while I love the new removable tongue, I still find it basically unacceptable that the Mean and Meaner Beans are using a standard 2" ball. Seems those trailers should get a Max Coupler, or some other articulating/360 degree coupler on there; I wouldn't have one without it. Nice that rock rails are an option. Saw them on the LE Black Bean a while back, and was hoping would be optional if we buy a Bean. Couple other questions: --What is max tire size on Mean/Meaner bean? --What is clearance of Mean/Meaner? When you scroll over models on website homepage, it currently shows clearance of 15" for Mean, and 12.5" for Meaner. Is that really true? Seems opposite of expectations. PS - I now see that when you go into the model itself, both show 12.5." Is this because only Meaner used to have belly water tank, and now both do, cutting both down to 12.5" of clearance? --Have you ever looked into doing a curved solar panel that could ride/store on the back hatch. Escapod is now doing this, and it looks like a great idea (see "2020 Escapod Off Road Teardrop Trailer" video). --Video shows tongue jack has a pad vs. wheel. Is that for showroom/video purposes, or is that actually how they come? Contrary to some other opinions, I'm not sure I like the addition of 2" to the headspace. I'm assuming it increases the overall height 2" as well, and the one worry I already had about Bean is that it is quite a bit taller than some others we've been looking at (Escaped, TeardropsNW, etc.). This seems like it would affect gas mileage, and if you put any gear up top makes it that much harder to deal with. On plus side, I'm sure it makes interior feel very roomy, and it would elevate an awning nicely! All that said, we've been researching teardrops for about a year (planning to make a purchase in 2020) and we are still leaning towards Bean over all others. Love the fiberglass shell, the craftsmanship and attention to detail, and many/most of the features you've incorporated. Kudos, and thanks in advance for answering as many questions as possible. I can email you directly, but figured this might help others too.

How do you get into the tent on top of the trailer? Also I think would improve the tongue storage if you offset the battery box and mount the disconnect switch to the hitch.

A bad ass off road rig !! But no articulating hitch ? WTH ? Of course you can add one, but it would have been a better presentation, especially for advanced over lander's. And I have one more suggestion. Tone down the BEAN logo in the rear. I think you can see it from space.. :)

The stainless steel counter top will get all scratched up. Noticed that the stove was not placed on top of the counter so as not to scratch the top

I've seen videos of three different models, and they are all virtually the same - with the only difference being how well they handle off road driving.

naive question as I have never been in any of these smaller trailers......Why not have at least a small window opposite the window shown for cross ventillation. even a horizontal slim window so as to preserve the "wall space" that you pointed out. without cross ventilation heat could be a terrible problem i would think???
