In this video I show how to install a lift kit on a 2020 Ram 1500. This is the 3.5 inch kit with complete struts and rear shocks. Unfortunately I did not get much from the rear end due to GoPro issues.

I just install what the customer asks for as long as it doesn’t involve hacking or would be unsafe when complete. I think it would rub with any kind of articulation.

If it comes in for some other work I’ll get a video. Ran into some wheel fitment issues and spent time on that and once it was done the customer showed up. Or I may see if the customer wants to give a review and I’ll get some video and a walk around. Subscribe and I’ll see what I can do.

I just bought a 23 ram BTS edition, it's got the offroad coils and 20 wheels, if I run this exact kit would 35x12.50x20 tire fit?

I have this kit and I’m having trouble with the sway bar links not reaching the Lca fully. Any tips I’m gonna finish the lift tomorrow and put the truck on its weight hoping it can push the link into the lca all the way

I’ve had to loosen the bar brackets on some lifts so the bar will move then once the truck is on the ground go under the tighten the bar back up.

i have a 19 ram rebel with the bilstein 4600’s. thinking about this kit instead of putting motofab spacers. how do you think these struts and shocks compare to the bilstein 4600’s?

WHY NOT JUST DISCONECT THE HOT WIRE ONTHE TRUCK BATTERY,INSTEAD OF GOING AFTER ALL THOSE CLIPS UNDERNEATH.?

The directions from rough country has you do it this way and I’m a stickler for keeping all the customers settings and such so if I can avoid killing power to everything I will. I’ve had people tell me they don’t disconnect anything but with pricing and availability of parts I wouldn’t take the chance.

what about the CV shafts?.....3.5 inches is a bit much for the front diff

I’ve done several of these lifts on various trucks and have yet to see any issues with the axles and have not had any after the fact hurt a cv axle. There are companies that make cv shafts for lifts if your worried about it but they are expensive

FYI, rough country struts do NOT fit the v6 ram 1500s. They don’t make any that are made for a v6 4x4, can anyone recommend some?

I have the v6 etorque model, funny how most websites don't state that. A pain finding struts, since I don't just want spacers, want to go all out

Yes. The kit is for 2wd and 4wd.

He supplied the wheels and tires mounted. But they were 35 10.5x18. I would strongly recommend not getting 18” wheels for these trucks. The place that balanced them used some very skinny stick on weights and still were rubbing on the brake calipers.

@@stevenhumphrey8203 on the rear side on full lock there was a touch of rubbing. He wasn’t worried about it since you couldn’t see it without actually looking for it.
