Hello friends! It's been almost a year since I uploaded this video, but you guys keep recommending me great books, and that makes me so happy! Today I uploaded an update about this reading journal, complete with a flip-through, all the books I've read this year, 2021 setup, and a giveaway! You can find it here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/idp5rLd327XNgGg.html

Finally, someone who actually posts the contents of an actual book journal. I'm trying to start one and I was researching a lot on some inspiration of how to set it up but this one actually shows your goals and achievements and actual things that a journal is supposed to have. Now I have a better understanding of what to write about in mine and how to set it up! Thank you so much for making this video!

I love this video. I’ve been getting back into reading because of quarantine. I bought a random journal at a store along with a highlighter and a post-it sticker flags and marking excerpts that stood out to me in the book I’m reading. A reading journal is a great way to make reading more engaging and intimate rather than just being told to reasons because your university told you to.

Hey ho, trained bookbinder here... This "glued to the next page syndrome" is one of the reasons your notebook doesn't fall apart. The first (often coloured) paper is glued to the books cover and to the stitched paper pad to hold them together. It's also stitched to the pad but usually it's a different type of paper and you could see through the stitching. The Book would be more vulnerable without that "syndrome". The fist page is not meant to be fully drawn on. Just look into one of your printed (and stitched) books: it only contains a plain version of the title. Therefore your book isn't "suffering". It's a sign that it's well made. Fun fact: salesman used to write the price or notes on that page. In my language it's called the "Schmutztitel" - the dirt title. Sorry, my English is not the best. I hope, you understand what I mean. Besides I really enjoy your videos! :)

It's the very most awesome best ever. Here is a new book for you "the glass woman" XD I also love the journal. I want a lined journal and time to journal, so I could make a new reading journal but my sad current one got slightly and sadly abandoned atm T.T The lines are so thin that's really nice. But San approves of video and reading journal. Next time she DESERVES to see it I in real life.

I loved the layouts and the concept of keeping a journal for books. I have recently started reading more often, still for this year, I am pacing myself and only have a goal to read 3 books. Mostly because they are self help and very deep and have a lot of meaningful teachings that I want to apply to my everyday life to fight off depression and anxiety. After those 3 I want to incorporate other genres and increase my goal. I would also love to keep a separate journal to jot down any notes I want to remember from these books. So thank you for this amazing video.

Aah you know, I was planning on making an update in June, but as my phone broke a month ago and I suddenly had more gifted and sponsored content coming up (going up in July 👀), I found it best to slow down a bit and not make a video until later this year. However, I can say that I have read 15 books so far this year! I will try to be better at posting pictures of my reading journal on Instagram, to make up for the lack of a video 😣 I just don’t think it would make much sense to upload a video in August/September, and then again in December/January 😐 Or what do you think?

WITCH is considered manga?? How though it’s italian🧐
@mochibujo
@mochibujo 3 жыл бұрын
I see why you don’t consider WITCH a manga, since it’s not Japanese, but tbh I didn’t want to bother to make one spread for Japanese manga and one for other graphic novels when WITCH is the only non-Japanese comic books I read 😅 the word “manga” just means comic/graphic novel anyway, so...🤷🏼‍♀️

Why not just use a goodreads app?

Hi there! If you’ve watched any of my other videos, you’ll know that I greatly prefer analog methods of journaling, so that’s why I’m not using an app to make my reading journal 😉

OH... MY... GOD... 🙌😺👏👏😍😍😍📚📒📖🖊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉💎💎💎 You AMAZING LITTLE ÅÅÅÅÅÅÅHH, I'm SO FREAKIN inspired by you Hedda!! This comment was started at ca 00.00, yeah midnight or 12 am if you care, and before I started to think "yeah I really need to tell her this.......so she knows what an incredible inspiration she is aswell as an amazing artist with countless talents and just keeps on wooooow'ing me everytime I see a new (or new to me anyway) video you make. Let me start with two small but huge for me, facts that just have been like this for the past ...um...two thousand years...and that is: 1: I do not read. I LOVED reading in elementary school and always had my nose in a book from GIRL:IT or Pennygirl and when I was reading...all my ADHD (uro, vet ikke det eng ordet for uro...😬) crap was gone and same with the intense pain I've got permanently cos of Fibromyalgia and childrens Reumatisme which is INSANELY MUCH MORE painful if you get it as a child or a young age and I got it real bad already in 2014, so the hospital and my mom was NOT happy with giving so much morphine i.v. to a patient that young and not giving that type A medicine to a child at all...and they gave me six to eight times a day and two to four times per night, so when the books gave me a painfree fantasyworld my mom got very sad when I got a blockage for books or anything with letters so then it was back on the i.v. and the same medicine in pill form and supp (stikkpiller) which I have been using EVERY DAY SINCE the end of 2014 when my hair fell off cos of the chemo I had to take for a really bad disease I'd wish never my worst enemy will get. BUT NOW THANKS TO THIS VIDEO I RAN OUT OF THE LIVING ROOM AND INTO MY WALK IN CLOSET AND DIGGED OUT BOX AFTER BOX WITH BRAND NEW BOOKS AND THANKS AGAIN TO YOU I STARTED TO READ AND ALL OF MY PAIN GOT AWAY ASAP I STARTED TO READ AND I found four teeny tiny but with rubberband and bookmark and lined....notebooks and one A5 brown beautiful vintage looking notebook (with plast around so I don't know what the paper is like or if it is lined like I also want it to. YOU DID THAT HEDDA. YOU took my pain away and gave me the wonderful world of fantasy back into my life and I haven't taken any pills or supp's after seeing this and read half the book lol. 2: I ALSO KILL PLANTS BUT thanks AGAIN to you, I have bought seeds and will buy more seeds with really funky plants that looks like faces and monkeys and birds and so on...omg I can't wait to see how my plant journal AND READING JOURNAL will become. You know what; a long time from now when I am filming my notebooks, I'd be sure to thank you and your channel and let my subbies know who got me out of the pain hell I've been in for the last ten years and six years with extreme pain so the doctor even said giving birth is nothing compared to my pain so that is y they give A and B type meds to me at this age....😱😱😳😳😳😰😰 Anyway, GREAT video as always and keep doodling and posting so we can stay happy. Btw while Mats were laying on the paper, Thea came in and layed down on my BuJo and started purring and being cozy with me lol. I just LOVE cats. I've learned Thea to count and easy maths so she can (regne ut ditt pluss datt) if I say ten plus ten and show with my hands and fingers how many up to ten and then adds the plus to show how old my mom is and she knows when her B'day is and how old she is and if I say now you have seven pieces with snack then she'll look if I just give her six and since cats (er langsynte) then she stops after seven if I give her eight or nine cos she trusts me blindly. The vet has never seen any animal trust their owner the way she does with me and the vet can shave and take any test without drug to her as long I'm holding her and pays attention to her and stop the vet if she is hurting her and Thea knows that so thats why she does anything i want her to. Including moving over to another notebook cos i am using the one she chose lol. She is so so smart. The dog, chihuahua , is NOT. OMG she's SO stupid i just get either angry or just laugh at her. My gosh cats are a lot smarter than dogs that is proven but my God I swear my dog is as stupid like no one else....omg...lol...oh my this was pretty much. Thank u if u read it all❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ You are a true diamond💎💎💎💎💎💎💎💖💖💖💖💖💖💖📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📒📒📒📒📒📒📒🖊🖊🖊🖊🖊🖊🖊📖📖📖📖📖📖📖🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
